Th latest shallow well 'popping' is just a guess based on some news (somewhere) saying they've ordered 5 storage tanks, are these septic tanks?

I did say a while ago they will need to order a new storage tank which will cost tens of millions of dollars i.e. 10/15,000 barrel storage tank, maybe they've bought a secondhand tank to keep costs down. 5 storage tanks - for each shallow well?

We'll soon get to know.

I'm still sceptical 141/152 wells have even spud with Carver sating in his last Op's Update they're 'next to spud' opposed to telling a PI they're nearing TD?

Increase in the price for oil sold to the domestic market

The Board of Caspian Sunrise are pleased to announce that it has been informed that the price for oil sold to the domestic market from its flagship BNG Contract Area has been increased to approximately $12.4 per barrel.

While this still lags far behind the international price it is approximately double the price received for most of the past 12 months and as such will be a significant boost for the Company's finances.

Clive Carver, non-executive chairman commented.

"This news is very welcome and we hope it marks the beginning of the closing of the gap between international and domestic prices to levels seen before Covid-19."

They were getting $6 pboo last year for Domestic oil sales.

Where are you two getting $90 pboo for Domestic oil sales - where's this RNS you refer to stating they $90 per barrel for Domestic oil sales?

They don't have an export license for the deeps so oil will be sold into the domestic market from the deep wells. Happy to be proven wrong chaps.

If the 802 Deep Well flows are in the thousands remember the oil will be sold into the domestic market at $25? pool which will help the coffers a lot until an export licence has been granted, 2?years layer as shallows.

The elephant in the room is if the 802 Deep Well is flowing commercial qualities of oil what will the estimated 2C levels be with a successful A5 Deep Well sidetrack to boot.

Question for Clive, will they try drilling the A5/ any deeps horizontally.

If they did the A5 flow rate could triple from a 600m drill compared to 7m from a vertical wellhead. imo

Hope so, but bear in mind they were just breaking even on domestic oil sales at $6 pboo for a large chunk of 2021 only getting $12-$19 boo later on.

It's only now they're getting $25+ for domestic oil sales.

A third of oil sales are domestic.

An average of $15 pboo for 2021 - an average of $25 pboo for 2022 would be about right.

Currently around 3K bopd are sold into the export market and around 1K are into the domestic market.
