Directorate changes
As announced on 27 February, Richard Solomons, Imelda Walsh and Tensie Whelan were not planning to stand for re-election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (3 June). Having supported Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc (the "Company") through the completion of the equity raise and Lawrence Stroll's transition to his role as Executive Chairman during their notice period, they stepped down from the Board on 23 May.
The following changes will be made to Board Committees:
- Peter Espenhahn will assume the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and will join the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee
- Lord Matthew Carrington will assume the Chair of the Remuneration Committee and will join the Audit and Risk Committee and Nomination Committee.
Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman said:
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Richard, Imelda and Tensie for their service to Aston Martin Lagonda through a challenging period. We plan to be able to announce a number of new Non-Executive Director appointments to the Board, to strengthen its combined experience, soon."
The Company also announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer today.
