I feel your frustration.
I don't think there's a single broker out there for retail customers that will let you place an order into the LSE's book (for SETSqx shares). (That's an invite for someone to educate me.)
You've just got to proceed accepting that it's an illiquid stock & expect that when the LSE market is closed, you are going to see wider prices (and less trades).
But note: during the daytime it's been quoted bid@.85 & offer@0.9 for days, but if you are a retail customer, your broker/platform will improve greatly on these prices for sizes up to a couple of million shares. FYI, just tried some RFQs... got these quotes for 1m shares: Bid @ 0.8550 GBX and offered below mid @ 0.8733 GBX.
