Brexit was never going to save this country,our economic model has failed.
We may have a slightly lower debt to GDP ratio compared to our close nieghbours but it's going to take 100's of billions of pounds to put right what 9 yrs of austerity has done.

We only have the UK government to blame.

The buy back will certainly support the SP during 2019 and will make a bigger impact from these low level to where we should be.However i still believe a dividend would send out a better signal for income seeker's plus a large proportion anyway find's itself back into Lloyds shares price via a DRIP.
It's as if they don't trust us to invest the divi wisely.Whatever happened to taking back control,in this case the dividend paid to it's owners!

If PLUS have played their cards right out of their own volitility,they should have enough to pay a special divi,ha !

Looking at the the competitors,CMC,IGG, the most they have fallen from a summer 2018 peak is 50%.PLUS had a 2000p peak so i'm working on a recovery to around 1000p.
Will hold for the 48p(6.7%) divi tomorrow as i can't seeing falling back to 670p and if it does i'll buy more,IMHO.

Some one suggested yesterday that the charts are screaming 400p.If that is the case why haven't the hedge funds who know a lot more about PLUS than you and me not increased their postions?.
