As you say,it was discussed a few days ago re the timing of this report.The company knew the revenue was bad but proceeded to present on a Friday which in my opinion has maximum impact.I'm thinking they wanted the SP to fall further than it should.
On the positive prehaps we may get an unscheduled trading update saying things have improved,otherwise it's going to be a long time to early July.

I was hoping we would beat first Q 2017 rev of $77.5m but we are well short.
I think we are in a no win situation,if the other two report better fig's then we're doomed as the basket case,if they report similar falls the sector is doomed.
Bought what i could in the 400's and contemplating bailing out,let's hope we finish plus 500p!

Sold my stake in IGG at a loss to buy into PLUS on the basis if i'm committed to the sector,just maybe the rot will stop tomorrow,it has to turn at some point.

The IGG fall was a leak the day before results and the whole sector was affected.That doesn't seem to be the case today.

If you look at IGG's trading around the update on the 21st March,PLUS fell 5.99% on the 20th March along with IGG's 5.19% we didn't get that today,IGG rose slightly and we are still 2 days out from an update which has been brought forward.

Crowcast,it does make you think how Buzby came to this conclusion,i can't see the logic!

PLUS and others wouldn't want to send the wrong message back to ESMA saying the restrictions are not working,it keeps ESMA off their backs.63% fall of SP indicates they are taking the pain and the vulnerable are being protected.
I would think the probability of further falls after they have all now reported is limited,IMHO.

Thanks Mark for those forecast figures.As you say 1st Q last year was a crypto currency bonanza of $297m no chance of matching,but 2017 was $77.5m so we should beat that.Last Q of 2018 at $154.8m beat all of the 2017 non ESMA directive quarters so the company is still moving in the right direction.
I would think the est of 80p(local currency)divi is a bit conservative for 2019 considering they paid out 98p in 2017. Actual pay out was $1.69 (130p) for 2017 if you include the special.
I'm always wary when a company bring's their reporting forward,however the SP has held up.

LTI,i'm always a bit wary when you say you have just bought in after IGG at 535p and MARS at 100p but i think you may have got it right this time.
Either the whole insurance sector is over valued or SAGA is well under valued.
