Just imagine where the share price would have been if they had only released the news on changing the CFO,i feel this news must have slipped out early hence the fall.
I have nothing against shorting it gives investors incredible prices however when it is overdone it can limit the scope of companies to raise funds via shareholders leading to premature failure,many of which are just experiencing a bad patch and would have survived.

Many of the shareholders are foreign and don't see the dividend policy as progressive even though it's risen by 5%.To them the rise is not keeping up with the fall in sterling.

I would tend to feel companies which have been unduly held back as British based but in fact have considerable foreign earnings.Does Lloyds fit the bill?

I think Carney must have forgot he had the tools to stimulate the economy and proceeded to pump in £60bn and an interest rate cut.According to the latest growth figures without the brexit vote they would have been 3% higher by now,so Carney got it right but not the timing.
I ignore the employment fig's,full time employment to me is working more than a 100hrs a week leaving you with 68hrs to catch up.
I wonder where the economy would be if he started £60bn of QT next month,that would give the true effects of the vote.
