Boomer I was surprised too as it was a 19.6% rise on Dec 2018 and what with a landslide election, the pound at $1.30 and Lloyds at 57p you have to say the Conservatives have a handle on the economy.

Like climate change it's very difficult to notice change over short time scales but over 10 years it becomes more apparent.
If you turned your heating down by 1c would you notice the difference? however you would notice the difference in accumulated savings over the 10 years.
