NHS has approx. 140,000 beds say an average stay of 7 nights so this month alone 280,000 have entered hospital yet only 37,000 tests to date have been carried out.Apart from the cross contamination to patients and staff we don't have any data,with no data we are stabbing in the dark.
We will never have enough critical bed spaces but for those contaminated below critical status but require nursing why not turn the cruise liners into hospital ships which would provide much needed revenue for an ailing industry.

No way could the UK economy go into any kind of quarantine shutdown.
To enforce 8 million part time, 5 million self employed and 2 million gig/freelance to observe self isolation is idiotic.
Surely it must be easier for the economic inactive elderly to curtail their lifestyle for a couple of months and concentrate on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the NHS.
