Ireland collected €10.9 billion corporation tax in 2019 of which circa 80% came from foreign companies so for them to finally have to contribute €15.7 billion over the next 6 years seems a fantastic deal.

According to this article bank lending in the UK was 97% higher in the 3 months to may 2020 compared to 2019 and according to BOE much of the increase occurred during March when the general consensus was for a quick recovery.
The article also points out our 97% was the highest amongst the major EU countries only France close with 87% but 53% of their loans had government guarantees while UK 22%.
