My latest feeling she'll go for extra time.This visit to Macron sounds like a deal will be done whereby we leave EU on 29th march 2019 but will remain within the customs union while negotiations carry on so avoiding the cliff edge.

As a comparison the one on the 23rd Jan 2018 came up with like for like rev up 7.2% and even after the Barkers closure £2m costs the share was the top riser on the 250 with a 8% jump to the 170's and during the brief rise the hedge funds added.

I too bought some more today.The NAV fig of £906 m looks pretty genuine and compares well with the M/cap of £578m.Yes the hedge funds have softened up investors and some are not prepared to face tomorrow.110p to 130p seems a realistic spread,average price 120p.If it fails to achieve 120p then more than happy to collect the 6.5% yield, prehaps by next June the hedge funds might have got bored!

Pastyc,if they wanted the share price to rise they would have done the same as Barclays,ie divi up from 1p to 2.5p instead of the 1p to 1.07p.

I don't think there will be a massive influx of claims.
We have a hard core of people who don't really care,similar to the usual 35% that don't give a monkeys at a general election.

If we hadn't had this brexit experiment our interest rates would have probably followed US rates.Manufacturing represents 10% of the economy and this would of been sacrificed further on a strong pound especially within EU with an exchange rate of 1.50 Euro's.Service's would have taken up the slack.
