Ie solg strong position with cfp and cgp in the same situation.

If anything people who didn't vote may well make more of an effort to vote for him now they see how important/close it was.

Scrat I like your analogy and would like to add that when the upper school kids tried to take those sweets one of the lower school kids kicked a shin and bloodied the noses of 2 upper school kids.

If you take out the large shareholders like our doom mongers tried yesterday by only removing NM interests it looks very different story and very clear whats going on.
Circa 36% voted with Nick gaining 35% of the vote which works out around 95% of smaller investors.
Even if Nick was to go how would that play out for say Bhp trying to get things through with a possibility of 55% of the total shareholding voting against them.

Bhp and Ncm can buy on the open market and sp rises?
No more cheap raises for them.
The natural flow of things is whats is happening and Nick is at the helm.
The majors will win over but that has not happened yet and solg have sent the message once again its for fair value.
The stubbornness/arrogance that the majors show could cost them billions and of course they can afford it but its still in Nick hands.

Yes Nick has Dgr, tenstar and probably others on side but the vote is done and only a change in the share register can make a difference next time but Nick has already signalled he can change that to his favour.

Red I wanted out 2 years ago but I can see there only a few options available which seem to be sell at circa 40p , hope for a true value bid or production.
It seems to be the road we are on as we have ruled out jv and dilution to bhp and Co.
It seems to me he has ruled out the Jv as he is also only interested in a decent bid(or going to production as Q would say)
