Red I would definitely be backing shareholders in defence of any bid that is deemed lowball. I'm sure Bhp/Ncm will do everything and anything to stiff us and this has already been in play for the last few years and the Rio / Turquoise Hill situation shows what tools the big players have and more than happy to use.

Rk isn't that the point though we have very little say being small holders?
Apart from getting together as group and voicing our disapproval of such a scenario what else could we do and would it even register with our board and the likes of Bhp?
To me this is why PI need the likes of Nick who's interests align with ours.
Dbw how are these large after hours possible? Surely this ruffles some feathers that someone can build a decent stake without rasing the sp. I'm surprised this hasn't flown tbh
I'm.aware people fell through the net and my wife did due to her 2 previous years employment paying more than her 2019 self employment and thus qualified for nothing.
My point was only made as Slug was making out self employed got nothing ( in paticular ltd) which simply wasn't true. If you were Ltd and did not pay a salary yes you would of fell through the net and that's ****ty to say tye least and I sympathise. I took employment in Nov 2019 but if I had stayed in my Ltd company role I would of spent 4 months down the beach ( with the rest of the furlough gang) after initial lockdowns were relaxed.
That's strange as I thought if you were Ltd company and paying yourself a salary you would of got a handout plus the relief loan too if required. Sole traders also got payments upto the same amount as employed. It's not too say people didn't slip through the net and the hole thing wasn't a shower of ****e. Self employed definitely did get help.
