In my experience of about a dozen corporate purchases (not in mining and for much smaller transactions) - once DD is done a firm offer is invariably made - now it can be that that offer is larger or smaller than the initial indicative offer based on what the DD has thrown up but a firm offer in my experience is always made. If it is too small, has too many strings etc and the board reject it and go back to the other parties but remember that many of the other parties involved had access to the data room and had been doing their own DD prior to this credible party turning up in May so I doubt it would be another 6 months..

Final point - share price is up around 15% at the time of writing - the last RNS rise - the first day also rose about 15/20% but that was followed by 5 straight days of around 25-30% rises to get from 14p to 44p (briefly) so I'm expecting large rises for the next few days even without news - if we get more news JORC, firm offer etc well sky is the limit !!

It means the buyer has done all its checks - legal, financial , personnel etc etc - and they are not ready to commit to a firm offer. True we dont know what the level of that offer is but we do know that the share price was around 30p when they made their indicative offer and since then the Board have made great strides with adding and enhancing assets - could easily get a formal offer in days - no one is getting my shares for under 75p minimum but could easily be over £1 - what a fabulous update

Most people here are looking for a 300-1000% rise from here - why they whinge about a 6% fall is beyond me

Well at least the RNS explains a lot about the odd and contradictory previous RNS and webinar so that’s positive.

Also based on what occurred no way the EG take away the licence at end of October- maybe a month or two extension - HAA will want sorted pre end Nov before the loan becomes payable. IF sorted 3.5p is the minimum after finance close - still a risk given the many missed deadlines but odds just improved - bought a few more today

Interesting webinar - the moderator was very very good - think there will be a bump up tomorrow - always have the Harry discount of what he says but he was absolutely playing down the delay and thinks it will be sorted - compared to a house sale gazumping issue - we will see !!!

Simms - exactly corresponds with my views - yes Harry has been a disaster for PIs of LTIs , yes it has taken an age, yes his promises have been broken time and again BUT worth a punt because IF he sorts out this issue the share will rerate 3/4/5 times - it may well not happen of course but if you like a risk / reward we know the gold is there and we know the bank finance is on board as you say the biggest hurdle - any other CEO would have had this over the line 2 years ago but maybe it will happen and that unlocks SA - just dont invest if you are not prepared to lose all your money but think , over time, you could have a 10-20 bagger - all fun :)

There is some shenanigans going on with that RNS - not exactly sure what but late yesterday I gambled and stuck £10k in - could lose it all but you never know if the EG can knock a few heads together/ the local heavies realise without the project they get nothing - it might happen - at this price worth a punt in my opinion but not for widows and orphans so be prepared

I was a big investor a few years ago - around 2% of the equity when there was 400m shares - met the Board and looked them in the eye when they promised funding within days (back in 2019) - they are at best totally out of their depth but I suspect given then hundreds of thousands they take out each year much darker motives - the fundraise in Novemeber is to pay the creditors - oh who are the creditors - to a large extent HArrys "consultancy" firm - ever heard of a CEO taking a salary and separately invoicing as a consultant - mental

I see this as a managed and deliberate attempt by Harry to drop the share price so his mates at RAB can convert their bridging loan at a ridiculously cheap price and grab another 500m shares in November - then miraculously I expect financing will close and Harry gets his big bonus - everyone happy - oh except the PIs who have been denigrated, and diluted by this spiv in charge - if I had any shares in this I'd call an EGM and try to oust this lying buffon - so glad I sold up - you were warned

Well best of luck to you - you coulda got a good bit more when it went to 40p but a profit never hurt anyone. I also bought into EUA at just under 27p today so we are in that boat together. !!as for Kefi still very doubtful on HAA but you never know after 3 or 4 years since the state of emergency I hope it works out for you all - too risky for me !

Well since the announcement it has fallen a whole 1.5% so I guess it’s been steady - next news will be how much of the rights issue is taken up by investors and how much by the underwriters - I’m taking my allocation but if there is a lack of confidence it could fall however if ot is fully subscribed then it will rise - simples - we’ll find out next week.
