Omicron variants proving to be a serious challenge23 Nov 2022 13:24
AstraZeneca covid treatment EVUSHED found to have its protective quality lowered by Omicron variants. Lab results later backed up by tests in humans showed the treatment was still protective but NOT AS PROTECTIVE as it was against previous variants we had in 2021. This was reported by the Blood Cancer Group months ago, AstraZeneca silent by way of an RNS. Treatment still works and saves patients' lives however why no RNS on its effectiveness against the dominant strain. Seem to remember Omicron reduced the sensitivity of an LFD and the company involved revealed the problem via an RNS. Agree LFD is not a treatment but certainly would have detected less people carrying a high viral load and this has its consequences. Evushed is sold Worldwide, privately in the UK at £1200 a pop if you can afford it.
Omicron imo will have reduced the effectiveness of the approved LFDs, why because Antibodies is the reagent and there is no proof out there it did not. PD / Yanks carried out a validation process to confirm the approved tests S&S claims were valid. .........................silence.
Evushed is a human antibody treatment derived from B cells donated by convalescent patients, and Omicron reduces its effectiveness. A common dominator emerging here.
