If they announced a deep flowing and on test that means the acid has work and the chance of the others has just greatly improved. Get 2 on test and that's indicating they have solved the problems with the deeps. ( That's always been the problem to find the correct solution ).
That would change everything here and I would have to reevaluate my position.
We know they have a huge amount of oil in the deeps but never yet found the key to opening it up yet. I pray they will have found it with this acid.
They said August and just under 3 weeks left so not long to find out.

I was trying to explain that if you know the tonnage of what's coming onsite you obviously plan well in advance of that to make sure they don't have a problem as being stated. The cost of not doing so can run into hundreds of thousands and I can't see them making a mistake like that in my opinion. Absolutely everything is planned way in advance like the moving of the rig . Everything else associated would of been onsite or as much as possible.
It can take a month or more to get the well pad sorted alone from what I've been reading .
Anyway we move forward no matter what .

Of course if it's been heavy rain that could have caused problems onsite. Actually thinking about it it's no big problem in the grand scheme of things ..

Why would a company move the rig 3 weeks ago if the site hadn't go approval already.
And the compound wound have been made ready to take the tonnage of the rig and associated machinery and if not someone has f... Up for sure.
The other would be the cost of the rig sitting doing bugger all for 3 weeks.
I Indeed they are correct then I very disappointed .
Also I would have have hoped Paul would have let us know of the delay as it would then be end of September beginning of October or there about.

It's been onsite for around 3 weeks so no way it's not drilling as site was ready for the rig and would only take a few days to set up at most. Huge cost to keep rigs onsite and it's only around a 6 / 7 week drill . Should be done around second week September .
Let's hope they find another load of gas and Paul saying poss world class again.

Chinook creeping closer to total depth, nearly halfway through August already. Don't think they are expecting anything till around 7000 ft plus when you look at original records, but then again casc wasn't expecting anything till around 6000ft plus and look what we found.

Casp has 100% of assets where Uog holld 22 % of Egypt asset .
But it looks a good company for sure and certainly better run and other assets look good going forward.

Casp are still doing the shallows so let hope in the next week or 2 we have another flowing around 500 bopd .
Would be nice to get another shallow in be Christmas and i pray to God for even just one deep in the next month flowing and going on test . We've wait long enough for this acid thats been tested to clear this mud and crap from the deep wells .

Difficult time for oil and gas companies at present when taking a good look around . I was completely wrong in saying concentrate on the deeps when it should have been the shallows but here we go again with this acid so 2 or 3 or 4 times lucky hey. Agree with coffee on the deeps if all fails again.

I hold thousands here so I know what I'm going to do I'm going to knock the crap out of the company and watch my hard earned money dissappear even more before my eyes . All I've heard is the company is diabolical ,this is going to happen and thats going to happen yet you don't sell.
You all say you have money here but what investor continues to constantly knock the company at every turn knowing its costing him money . Tell me why a few of you do it because it boarders on stupidly when you can sell and move the funds into a company you believe in. You protect what you have left and sell instead of watching it keep going down.

I'd be disappointed if Chinook spud came out this week as 3 to 5 days to set up a land based rig while sometimes a bit more.
The rig has been on site 18 days roughly . The site was ready for the rig to come straight in and start operations . Sites should always be ready for the rig to start straight away for obvious reasons .
Of course they could come out with news that its on its way and is down to such at such representing a week plus of drilling but if Paul doesn't feel the need do this then who am to question his thinking at this stage.
Id much prefer a report a few weeks into the drill with them saying all is going well and when we have news as always you will be the first to know.
I certainly don't want big spikes but a a slow rise up to results and again afterwards . That could be hard if Chinook is another world class find on casc doorstep. Touchstone could of found a new play across the block and if Chinook comes in that will be 3 strikes across the block which will start to confirm that is exactly the case. If both casc deep and Royston comes in well you work it out what that block is worth to Touchstone without even putting another drill in the ground.
And if it does come off then will look across at us with green eyes.
Buy out I believe next year if these next 3 wells are outstanding . For how much I haven't a clue but I would have to be a bloody good offer for us to except it .
I hold and add because I believe Touchstone could not hold out on a very good offer .

I do very much like how Paul manages expectations while he must be absolutely over the moon on these first 2 discovery's one of which is a world class find. Chinook was the one he was most excited about and I ask myself why because he knows Royston has around 700ft of gas.
Yes Chinook is around 4 times the size ( broader) than Casc but what have they seen to be more excited than big brother down the road. The company must be even more so now knowing they have found a world class find a mile away and no boundaries found.
Don't know how he does it as I'm super excited about these next 3 drills and the first of them is on it way down to let's hope another big discovery.

In 11 years on LSE this has been the best board that I've seen for it's investors sharing info while also keeping it clean . It also helps that company tells you the info as soon as they know and no crap thrown in to it. Very refreshing and this what new investors and existing want to see. Opinions not shouted down but talked about and the possibilities from that which opens up more discussions. Investors that back the company 100% because the company tells you it straight at very turn.
Not a lot more an investor could want.

No just looked at oil stock and a few others knowing the would come back up .
If you look a my history and the one I post on I got in at a fantastic price and it just keeps finding gas on its block and it's a world class find ( the biggest discovery in Trinidad onshore and the drill has started on another that could be 4 times the size of this world class find.
I bet coffee is having an outstanding year as I think others will be also.
Even you I bet are doing well at the moment .

With casp I can see myself making good profit and I'm sure others can and while not as we once thought ( £1.00) I can see it above 10p on 1 or 2 deeps flowing or more successful in the shallow wells. I agree with coffee that if the 4 deeps aren't successful they be put to one side on a long while and carry on with the shallows.

Bitter you've got to be having a laugh mate. It's been the best 6 months I've ever had in around 29 years of doing this crazy game. The difference between me and you is I have no need to advertise what I've done and the companies I've done well in. Tell me why you or anyone needs to give that info out . Only one reason hey.

You know exactly what I mean . They have done it on other shares over the last 5 or 6 months by selling some shares form Caspian and reinvesting in others like the ones you mentioned and many more besides. It's never been easier to bag at the moment. What investors put in here is only a very small fraction of their portfolio for God sake.
Most will have easily covered their here so no problem.
The difference is you don't here them shouting about how well they are doing.
They just get on with doing what they do best.

Really interesting that so many have to let people know how well they have been doing . Not exactly hard at the moment is it for god sake . The fact many here have done very well out of casp fails to register with some that bang on about this company being crap .

Yes 4 deeps as the acid wasn't needed at A5 and just the rig to replace the broken link. Maybe it needs it now.
I think it takes around 2 to 3 day's each well to complete the acid job but could be quicker.
Just want a deep on test to prove it can be done so let's see over the next 3 weeks if Caspian can achieve something we have waited many many years for.
