Just give us an insight into what we found at cascadura and the upside of poss more from that structure and across the block. If Chinook is as close to what cascadura has then that wall of cash is going to have to be put to a mountain of cash .
That we come online next year so very exciting times ahead .
If Chinook is a no go then we still have 2 amazing drills after it in cascadura deep and Royston which is massive.

The financial information in these interim results has been prepared on a going concern basis using current income levels but a reduced work programme. On this basis the Directors believe that the Group will have sufficient resources for its operational needs over the relevant period, being until September 2021. Accordingly, the Directors continue to adopt the going concern basis.

Deep Well A5

Following a long delay during the period under review work has resumed to attempt to stimulate the well to flow at rates nearer the 3,800 barrel per day experienced for a brief period in November 2017. A conventional acid treatment has resulted in oil flowing to the surface but not yet at the rates previously encountered.

Would have been nice to let us know what it is actually flowing at at the moment.

I'm just thinking that cascadura is unbounded and paul stating that it's a lot bigger than expected, and Chinook is around 4 time's bigger ( broader) than cascadura yet only a mile from each other. It just my opinion and of course could well be wrong but in the end who cares as long as they find more gas or oil..

Must be into the deep structure but the question is have they found the same play at cascadura above the structure and paul would not be drawn on that question. The reflective deeper doesn't make any odds as if that's the case Txp will be fully aware of it.
If more gas found then it really looks like a new play across the block. Royston remember has 700ft of gas effect and what's interesting is they have a original guy who knows what was found back in 1959 . I would be over the moon if we find 100 bcf of gas and anything more a huge huge bonus at Chinook. Fingers crossed for us all this coming week.
Ps....still think casc and Chinook could be connected.

Should have said in rns that they were working on a covid 19 vaccine and we would be at a pound now. Got to laugh.

We knew it would drop due to covid 19 like nearly every other oil company .some huge companies out there that are struggling with some going from plus £2.00 to pennies .

The big thing here for me is they have huge amounts of oil in the deeps and today's rns states they will be going for a partner to help get it out the ground.
BP have stated they are looking for opportunities in Kazakhstan and we have total near us as well.
Should have brought one in a few years back but better late than never.

Wonder what would happen to the share price if a total or BP came in.

Could be total as a partner which could then open up 3ab and the deeper structure there. Would make sense.

Deep well exploration is technically difficult and expensive. Following a strategic review of the best way to maximise the values locked up in the deep structures and in recognition of the Group's financial position the Board has decided to seek to defer drilling commitments for a period of 12 months to improve the Group's financial position to fund further drilling while at the same time also seeking a larger partner to continue the development of this potentially extremely valuable asset.

Is that correct as they state for the first time a gross profit of 2.4 million.

Paul mentioned Chinook just over 6000ft 7 days ago and casing will go in at around 7800ft which is around now. So going by that I believe around next Wednesday or Thursday.
At the business end now so I think news on or around the 28th but would love it to be earlier.

We talk about cascadura at around 78p but as Paul says in the presentation that they have the deeps to go at and also haven't reach the bottom of the lower Herrera sands on the last drill. The upper sands haven't been tested either, so much more to come from casc.
What im saying is, is 78p stands for what they've found at present at casc and the next drill will open up the deep structure but also the bottom Herrera sand from the first drill.
My opinion is that cascadura could be worth well over a pound by itself, so if Chinook is as good or better then my thinking was around £2 which also depends on the NGC deal coming soon. I know it's just ifs and buts at the moment.
One last thing was how the company is excited about Royston ( as are all investors here) but paul said Chinook was the one he was most excited about yet Royston has 700ft of gas effect.
Would be nice have another strike to make 3 out of 3 hey.

What's people's thoughts on share price if Chinook is as good or better than cascadura. We would be talking over 1tcf of gas and poss more if as good.
