I know if they say they had to stop again because of the pressure this would go nuts, especially being so much bigger than casc 1. Fingers crossed for a great result again.

Unless they have to stop due to high pressure. They have if memory serves me right put a top drive on the rig which I know helps in drilling but not sure it helps with the pressure side of it.

Bored waiting anyone. Everybody's had a word to say about our Clive, been say for him to go for a few years but he just loves Caspian. In my opinion the only thing he likes about the job is he's large pay packet.

Never mind, now bring on the bloody deeps and get one on test or as coffee says mothball them till all shallow wells completed. Just hope this acid works as they have spent long enough in the labs this time making sure they have got it right .
If they have got it correct then it's game on at f...ing years of waiting . They have the huge amounts of oil in the deeps so fingers crossed they have fothe solution to getting it out.
Well we will soon find out over the next few weeks .

On the production front we are nearing total depth at New Well 151 and expect production from that well to commence in August 2020. We also expect the four South Yelemes shallow wells to be able to resume production once that structure is granted export production status.

Will have more than doubled production on mjf this past 8 months on mjf if 151 is around 500bop so 1500 bopd add at international prices this year and possibly get another 1 or 2 before Christmas and a deep that to me would be a fantastic year especially with whats happened across the world. Mjf is doing very well just need the deeps to catch up and the share price.
We all know crap data is coming as with most oil companies but it's what follows afterwards as it going to be a lot better .

If we can't get the deeps flowing this time I agree with coffee to just get on with the shallows. They could be doing these at a rate of 2 every 8 to 10 week or poss quicker.

Yes but looking at mjf and it keeps delivering on every shallow well at around 500 bopd and if this does then the asset is getting bigger. That will have more than doubled production on it and at international prices . So that's around 2500 bopd from mjf I think. Still getting one deep flowing is a game changer and while it would be at local prices it wouldn't be for long and especially if they get a few on test then put a cpr on it.
I think I'm right in saying a cpr was going to be done after 3 new wells were completed on the shallows but I won't hold my breath.

If well 151 comes online by the end of August then they must inform the market within 3 working days if memory serves me correct. Same with any deep that starts flowing and especially if going on test . You can't withhold information that can change the companies finance for the better.

Chinook gas but not tested and Royston had 700ft off gas effect and Royston is a lot bigger i believe than Chinook.
Casc1 is nowhere near priced in yet let alone part of Chinook.

I was thinking that this report was done on pressure tests flow rate tests and a few other tests that make up the report , but if you take a look what makes these tests up the one thing that stands out is the flow test and draw down.

We couldn't flow it properly as it was very much limited as stated in rns. Im expecting the casc deep will give them a lot better data on whats been found before drilling into the deep formation. So much here to look forward to over the next few months and then after Christmas the big one that is Royston which had 700ft of gas effect.

Well 2 weeks to go till end of August so I hope they have started or about to on the deeps. Shallow well 151 should be just about done and production expected before end of August.

Coffee With no rigs required on 3 of the deep wells with just the Acid treatment needed , once treatment is completed and if we have good flow ( fingers crossed yet again ) how long do you believe they flow it before going on test.

And a lot better prepared for higher pressure this time round so should get to total depth . If Chinook is successful it really helps them understand this new play across the block. Royston has around 700ft of gas effect and is bigger than Chinook and again was never tested back in the day. Very much looking forward to these next 3 wells being drilled.

If these 3 drills are hugely successful it makes the central block look small in comparison and i believe offers will come for the block, but it's proved up a lot more this new play so would the company be selling it even at say £3/4 pounds plus.
I'm beginning to change my mind if these next 3 are successful especially with what they have identified so far across the block as they could be selling it very much on the cheap.
Obviously it would be hard to turn down that offer if it's very big but then they will have done DD and believe the block could have a lot more to offer.

If Paul says around 1billion would that be for what they have already found at coho and casc and not Chinook and casc deep.

Bit disappointed the Chinook well has only just started and I can't see why it's has been delayed but it's started and on its way . Around end of September for total depth .
Waiting for results on Chinook and casc deep to then finalize what will be needed.
