Lots will be looking at this and why wouldn't they as basically Chinook is covered by what's been found up to this point and then some. If successful and another big find they can have both casc and Chinook online early next year ( I think Paul said around April but could be wrong). by linking the 2 together . Not a great cost either to do so or NGC pay for it.

Not 100% on this but I think it is 0.5tcf and above in terms of reserves . I think we could be around that but if not we have the second well on the structure and 2000ft more to go at which is original target. Remember upper and middle Herrera sands is a massive bonus for us and poss a new play. It's the lower Herrera Sands I believe that most produce from .

Check out thrust sheet traps and analogous pool data on how they work out reserves which is very interesting and you then understand why a second drill is needed especially if another structure below. Many many things they look at to define what they have . A second drill will help that assessment further while also going for deeper structure.
I don't believe Paul would come out saying it's world class on a whim because he was excited. They have far more knowledge and data to back it up. Now it just depends on what he himself calls world class.
Don't get me wrong as 200/ 250 bcf would be outstanding considering he wasn't expecting what they have found but he believes more is to come from this find at casc.
As always just my opinion.

Personally I think if Chinook success and it's big shell will buy the block as it's a new play or poss after casc deep is done.
Would a big company wait for Royston to be done I'm not so sure then again they have very deep pockets .
You got to think if the next 2 come in it would be above above £2 . Forget a wall of cash as Paul says it would be a huge mountain of it and that's without Royston. So much news coming over the next couple of months. At 57p coho and casc cover this price and some so more than happy to add from here.

Casc alone could be that and more. Can you imagine if casc has that amount and we hit a crap load more at chinook.

No one is to blame if you are at a loss here but yourself and the big difference is they don't keep blaming others for there mistakes.
Your first mistake was getting back in and the biggest is not realising that mistake and getting out even at a loss.

And G50 rig will have been in place at A5 for 3 weeks . You would like to think they have replaced the broken link and getting it ready for testing. This and the new infill well would double production within month or so. I'm more interested in the fact A5 would be put on a flow test for 3 months and proof to the market they have solved the problems with the deeps.

Get one or two deeps on test with that acid treatment which has been designed to attack the mud and this would be way beyond 10p.

Is the The Caspian Explorer a waste as some say.

A new land based drilling rig designed for for extreme weather and depth can cost up to 45 million dollars and we have basically got one on the Explorer that would need to be modified . You could basically sell anything else of value from the boat and scrap it which would pay for the modifications.

Strange how some always see the worst in things.

Got to remember upper and middle Herrera sand was not found in the 1959 drill so new play. Hit the lower Herrera sand ( target sands) and found even more gas. The second drill which will be 2000 ft deeper to original target depth I believe will hit oil and gas.
Look at Chinook depth and the top of the Herrera sands depth and they had gas and oil. Interesting to see with the drill coming up if they hit the upper and middle Herrera sands . I understand why Paul is excited even more now about Chinook.
For casc to be as big as they say then I believe they could be connected only through looking at thrust sheets the traps and how these are running South East . Just my opinion and as long as they find more oil and gas that's what it's about.

That broken link should be done by now at A5 or very very close to it and as no acid treatment needed should flow at around 1500bopd.

I was looking at what other diseases have caused such heartache across the world like Hiv the Spanish flu . 37 million people have passed away from getting Hiv alone yet we hardly hear anything about it nowadays . Flu and diarrhoea causes millions in lose of life every year.

While covid is shocking in the extreme it doesn't come close to may other infection out there.
I pray they get a vaccine for covid 19 but also many other far worse diseases need just as much rush to find an answer .
