A5, I do believe there’s work going on but whether that’s a sidetrack or milling out the stuck pipes etc but we’ll know at next update.

The current action is selling as some believe nothing material to come in the next update. SP will probably start to retrace tomorrow but it won’t be for long before buyers return as CE news on the horizon and B8 too hopefully. We’ll get a progress update on all shortly inc 803 progress and clarification on A5 status.

Next 3 months should see positive news on 3 assets ie CE/B8 and MJF sale, the deep testing of 803/A5 and 2 Block 8 wells. May even get a spud at West Shalva too. The sp will move with gusto at some juncture and some may get caught out ;)

If they sell shallows @ $83m, add in the CE and deliver 2k bopd from a B8, WS combo in short order, then this is going to fly. 803 important too and I’d like to understand next steps on A5 as that alongside NY discovery is what really sends this into orbit.

Finals in June will show the debt increasing but let’s hope that Q3 is really a cash generative phase as expected.

Re A5, initially i was surprised to see the Adrianz note re A5 stating that going on flow test ? How do you square that one ? I agree it would have to be RNSd but did you get any info as to whether side-tracking, milling out pipe or no operational work going on ?

Block 8 is important, not just the loan repayment and the existing 100bopd but the testing of the 2 new wells.

Was hoping that accounts would be back to May cycle but hey, another month so if news pre finals release then probably this week as we’ll get a regurgitation of the same news .

802 is dragging but I believe 803 won’t be til end Q3 as with shallows dale but we have A5 I. The very near term, good or bad.

It’s not the receipt of the cash, it’s the confirmation that it’s happening as there’s obviously doubt from PIs that it could delay or maybe not be the primary option. I don’t believe CE deal is priced in and also the fact that it’s a rubber stamp for future charters.

Also Block 8 updated. Yep that could be anytime but I last spoke to Clive in late April and he was very hopeful that it was weeks not months. That is another trigger for cash inflow, both from existing deep and the loan repayment and the big news ie testing both deeps drilled.

I also believe that it won’t be long before they start sticking holes in WS by no guarantees there until drilled.

Worst case we’re going to get a comprehensive update come FY accounts so latest will be end June but I believe we get material updates before then.

Only $83m ? What about CE, Block 8 licence approval ? A5 is obviously a.company maker but I’m not holding my breath with that, I’m hoping to see flowing for several days as a worst case scenario as opposed to another failure.

As always, peeps have differing opinions but we need to see the CE cash and B8 approval as starters.

The MMs will always take their margin but the recent chunky sells have been around 3.4-3.5p. Mr 250k offloading pre news so save your pennies and let the price slip if you’re a buyer . MMs will take it down but will build it up again but with so much material news due, we’re like to see some positivity developments.

If/when the shallows/CE and B8 loan cash received, that's $100m less BNG licence liabilities if c $15m. Cash = 3p + and everything g else in for la lost zippo ? Allegedly the CE is worth more than first thought @ $60m and will be more in demand following Abay drill. Other assets -;

The money has been spent on proving up the deeps with 7 drilled to date with 2 in progress ie A5 and 803. 2 more awaiting testing on Block 8. More remedial work on A6/801/802 and to complete A7.

The sp is on its arze and we've got more newsflow to release on the most material prospects in the coming weeks and months that can multi-bag the sp. Of it all fails, I believe we still make money as they will sell the deeps or partner. This is primed to deliver the shareholder value that's been promised forever. Whether they deliver the big upside we all want is yet to be seen but we still make money from here, the magnitude ? that really depends on success with the drill bit.

Latest news I can find re Abay block exploratory well being drilled this year. Satellite vessel tracking alerts on and hopefully we’ll see movement very shortly.

We’re going to make a few quid. Incentive schemes in place, Options @ silly strike prices and I actually look forward to Shin and Clive actually taking them up, that’ll be the biggest buy signal ever. It’s about time we started having some fun and making some real money, long overdue :)

You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t ! Forget about my paltry collection, as you say, we’re irrelevant in the scheme of things and riding on the coat tails of the CP and WCP bigger holders. Had to divest some of the Stingher cash to this worthy cause and couldn’t have you worrying about my holding ;)

Can see an end game in sight following decision to bin the shallows and whether they get success at the deeps or not, I see them selling the whole BNG deep acreage at a significant sum or maybe partnering with another party who can bring them in. Next few months is going to decide whether it was a good decision or not and my Stingher downgraded to a dinghy :)

I had far too many and made the call to reduce but like anything, you have to review all investments as prospects change. I’ve been adding over the last month and have absorbed a considerable chunk and am well above eight figures again. As some point we all need to take profit at some juncture but as always, that depends on the future prospects. We’ll soon see whether that is a sensible move or not.

News is getting ever nearer but could it come in the 23 FY finals that could be published next week ? Post Covid era has seen publication at end of June and later as a result of last years suspension saga. Historically publication has been end of May and maybe the new accountants being smaller are a little more nimble than the previous incumbent.

If they are next week then we should have a current iOS update too that will cover everything hopefully. We’d see a profitable set of numbers but revenue will be down and liabilities substantially increasing. Only way they address that is by generating more profitable revenue which isn’t happening because of continuing sanctions, so asset sales are forced, the first being MJF/SY. The CE cash if/when it happens, will add a considerable chunk of cash and the hope is that that continues. If they receive both chunks of cash then they have options to acquire other assets, the key will be whether they can convert them to producers and strengthen the NAV. Don’t believe we get a divi payment initially but they’ll be cash rich and able to focus on finally proving up the deeps or getting somebody in. New CPR @ some juncture this year is likely following the lates deep drill results and we’ll know our fate re future of that campaign. If they achieve success at any, it’ll add huge value to our investment. Let’s hope that finally we get some positive deep news as that’s where we make a killing, finally !!

Clive will communicate with PIs but imo, he never gets drawn or crosses the line. If you want to go inside then I suppose that’s an option and you’re locked in. CC did communicate via RNS that they’d received offers significantly in excess of carry value so I suppose almost double the price could be considered as significant ?

Whoever is selling now is having to take far lower prices unless they’re done of course. The MMs are playing a blinder this week and robbing PIs with a 5% spread most of the time, currently 3.3-3.45, not bad business for processing orders !

As posted this morning. This is in the best shape it’s been for ever if you look at the immediate opportunities. Obviously success is key but I can’t remember a time whereby there have been so material news events in the very near term. The CE cash will probably calm a few nerves, the A5 news is huge but as stated, @ 3.45p, this is a raving buy and the downside is minimal but as always, only one person accountable, no victim mentality in this game.
