To add, if more investors showed more interest, attended AGMs etc, maybe we would be viewed as supportive v a necessary irritant. Maybe I’ve got the rose tinteds on and they do what they want as they control the game but if you’ve got money invested here, maybe if more people that turn out for meetings, maybe the communication would improve ?

Moving on, any ideas on the 3m trade ? Reduced bit to 600k volume but upped the price to 4.74p. Likelihood of news next week, 20% on the downside, considerably more on the upside.

All info shared equally ….lol. He’d be writing 10 RNS a day. As stated, it’s good to have a Chairman that will respond and he certainly is very careful as to what is communicated. A bit like an AGM, you’ve been to one, you’ve asked the questions, you’ve had the chat but that information is not published, it’s not shared equally, it’s only those that attend the function that obtain that detail. I would urge any investor who’s got considerable cash tied up in this to build a relationship with the company. They may need to raise cash, they may need more NEDs and I believe it’s important that you challenge them constantly.

Whether it gives the edge or not ? It’s important clarification of the situation. Some pis may think that production cash will dry up come any deal signed with AR, an important question imo and any investor can ask it. Will they trade oil for AR, another important question. Not inside info, just clarification of the position. They’ve created an OT business that is valuable, one that can trade commodities too, doesn’t make sense to throw a load of profit down the drain so hopefully that’s a possibility. If they signed a deal in Aug, they’d have to go through all the regulatory procedures and obviously the production revenues would run until completion and cash in bank. That revenue is significant at 2300 bopd and also gives Caspian the time to replace the lost production from B8/WS and hopefully 803 and other BNG deep wells. They’re not going to go from $40m to zippo before cash lands, who knows, they may negotiate a higher price or not do the deal if more production materials from 815 etc.

Meanwhile we wait for 803. The hard facts, failure at this zone and we see retrace c 20%, they drill on to TD and the sp will bounce as more material newsflow imminent.

Lets hope Mr &Mrs Credock-Gritster know more than the rest of us 😉

To clear up one thing. Clice does respond to e-mails but you’re way off base if you think he’s ramping the prospects, in my experience, he never has. Comms are poor as we know and it’s important that questions are asked and clarification needed. Latest questions around the shallows sale. Firstly why sell it for $88m ? If sold, will we get production revenues until cash received, could we still trade AR’s oil etc. Simple questions but important ones that need clarification. He’s not going to give inside info and he’s not going to tell us that 803 is flowing.

Re WS owner, I can’t believe that can happen. The overhang would be monumental and buy volume since trading resumed has been tiny. Also why would he be forward selling stock ? Why not take a fixed cash sum v a share allocation ? Caspian will be able to afford that and I’d much prefer it but obviously the sp is going to appreciate. Find out soon enough.

HQ are very quiet and if it is good news, they must be making sure that any flow rates are sustained. Let’s hope you’re right .

Peeps have lost confidence in little ole Casper after so many drilling disappointments. They have the assets but the big elephant is still in the room, are they capable enough technically or is the drilling that difficult ? I take comfort from the fact that the total asset value is higher than the sp, especially the barge which is on the BS for peanuts. You can put value on all the different licences/assets but the real value and the really big bucks we’re invested for comes from the deeps. We’re going to make proper money here, the magnitude will become a reality in H2.

What a funny week trading thus far. Most PIs are sitting on their hands, no sell off or huge buying spree, just bits and pieces a la DC5 for those old enough to remember, before my time ;)

3 weeks testing 803. Are they resting for 30 days, are they doing remedial work ? hopefully it’s the former.

Bid now @ 3m or £136k and peeps continue to nibble away. Not seen this bid strength for years so hopefully it’s linked to imminent good news. This has to break out soon with constant buy pressure ?

They’re not always accurate, that’s when the published mid price is inaccurate. Today’s listed buys/sells are spot on as posted. True market was 4.64-4.87 most of the day bit for bigger sells is was 4.54 after the initial 600k dumped early doors. All the 4.8 + purchases are buys, everything else sells. Market closed at 2.95m on the bid, I did t test the ask as it closed before I had a chance. I don’t get the current price and the strongest bid I’ve seen for years ie £130k +

Can sell 2.95m @ 4.54 ? Dont let them have any stock, they’ll have to shake it or pop it. If they shake it, they’ll have business but this is now primed to break 5p 😉

Great to have an agenda to improve services but yep, let’s see the plan to grow the economy first before raiding the ‘working class’ that have paid their dues and are now targets for stealth taxes. Forgot about motorists, wasting money on the electric journey that doesn’t fix the problem.

I don’t believe they raid historic ISAs, may eventually put a limit on your pot, if that’s coming, sell it all before they steal your hard earned.

With the development of AI, 5000 more tax inspectors…..lol, they go after the evaders and I’m all for that. They’ll target the companies that aren’t paying, not individuals. Loads of limited companies not filing accounts and there’ll be load of targets, vat evasion etc. The big money will come from the corporations paying corp tax in other tax jurisdictions. Our Dyson is shipping offshore, others will do the same unless it’s made attractive for them to stay, a tricky one.

No issue in paying taxes but when you’ve paid your share through your lifetime, especially if you’ve been an employer where you’re paying additional taxes. They’ve already hit Entreoreneurs relief and reduced to £1m (BADR )from £10m and now that’ll go too. Hopefully I’ve got it wrong and they’ll focus on eco ionic growth and leave the unpopular asset raids for now at least. They go on about the working classes, I come from good working class roots and they make no distinction on where the wealth has come from.

If they get silly, we’ll move to the Silver Coast in Portugal, great food, weather, nice people and a fantastic standard of living. Lets hope it’s not going to be bad and they do a better job than the Tories who fecjed it up, you never know, we may see a funded biz plan from our Rachel 👍

Yep, agree that the AR read a little differently but as always we need the good news to reinforce the strategy. Will be interesting to see the first broker note from Zeus and I have given feedback that we need to update website, investor presentation, do sone f2f PR etc but we need good news to help with that, 🤞 it happens .

Got to pray the the ‘growth’ scenario actually happens and less focus on the asset classes. They’ll eventually align CGT to IT bands, second homes tax, mansion tax, IHT, pensions etc. Tax all those who’ve worked their nuts off, paid their PAYE, Employers NI, Corp tax etc, it’ll be theft ! Hopefully I’ve got it wrong and they’ll focus on those evading and they’ll also catch those with offshore trusts. Discretionary trusts etc . First budget will probably set the scene, they’ll continue to windfall tax, tax the non corp tax players ie the big corporations, they’ll move offshore, Ireland etc with better tax regimes etc. Hopefilly I’m way off base 😀
