I agree I think that unfortunately some on here have built up the expectation that the RN will be on the 30th when that is not required

At the end of the day I ask myself is this an opportunity I would invest in and the answer is a resounding YES. Plus I have a balanced portfolio of high, medium and low risk shares. Risk and reward usually go hand in hand.

Unfortunately I don’t believe there will suddenly be a magic solution to covid. With all the billions at stake do you not think the airline industry would have invested and introduced on the spot testing by now if it was scaleable and the solution?
Same with vaccines, it is clear it will take a very long time to carry out mass vaccination and the virus is continually mutating.
Start believing Willie Walsh when he says it’s 2023/24 or longer for life to return to normal.

In the unlikely event that there is no RNS tomorrow and the SP falls I will be topping up. I am confident the investment is forthcoming and if there’s any panic selling I’ll be looking forward to taking advantage of that.

I suspect it’s just the lawyers doing their work and I’m still expecting an announcement tomorrow.

If there was any doubt about a deal being announced this week the SP would be suffering. Instead it’s steady as a rock!

Always a good sign when the directors are buying

IMO this will be plus 400p tomorrow as markets buy up in advance of some cracking results. Will be interesting to see where SP closes on results day but reckon somewhere between 400 and 450

I’m expecting an announcement on the 30th and not before. Can’t understand people getting twitchy. This is a high risk stock but with potential high returns. If people aren’t comfortable with these stocks they shouldn’t have them in their portfolios

Thanks WASU. That really is a concern as Id always thought if push came to a shove they would be the ones to bail out IAG.

I do not know what low the SP will go to. I don’t see the point of predictions. I’m interested in buying the stock after it’s bottomed out and has a future IMO. As for when the low will be reached I would predict during the week after the US elections because the chances are there will be a constitutional crisis. I very much hope IAG has a future and believe if it does survive it will flourish in the future however, the board of directors will do whatever it takes to save their company and shareholders should be very wary IMHO.

Today’s SP holding up strongly considering the markets have taken a dive the past few hours

The day traders will have sold on the earlier higher and buy back in later. This is a strong hold without a doubt as likely to see further significant jumps in the coming days.

I’ve traded a lot of AIM companies with some big wins and big loses. KAT has all the attributes of the companies I’ve won with. I never expect a smooth ride with AIM stocks but the potential returns are incredible and this stock could be golden!
