Bet there’s a lot of companies who wish they had £9Bn liquidity! IAG have finally got a leaner more efficient workforce as well. Roll on next year this will be the FTSE share of 2021!

Markets much more settled now they know how much liquidity IAG have. More than enough to whether any continued downturn during 2021. Can’t see this dipping below a £1 again.

I think the SP is more likely to move in jumps. So at present we are 95 - 110p but I would anticipate a jump to the 120 - 130p range on the back of early positive stage 3 vaccine results followed by a jump to the 140 - 150 range within the next few months.

This is the sort of proactive approach our govt should be taking rather than simply waiting for the vaccine to come. There are no guarantees and it will take time to roll out the vaccines so it makes sense to have alternative plans. It still amazes me the scant regard this govt has for the tourism sector. Embarrassing to be left behind by countries such as Turkey

Yet again IAG shares proving how resilient they are to less than ideal news. That’s because the markets are forward looking and there are lots of positive developments around the corner.
1. Revised quarantine arrangements by 1st December
2. Rapid / airport testing
3. Stage 3 vaccine results due

Time is running out for the world is flat doomsayers to get on board at this level of price.

Only a month ago the sentiment on here was very mixed with an even number posters positive and negative on the SP. Now it feels like everyone (expect one person) is positive on IAG. Perhaps this in itself is an indication that good times are on the way!

Cleverinvestor I really wouldn’t worry about what the SP does day to day unless you are a day trader which clearly you are not. IAG is a great medium to long term buy. I’m sure you will be very pleased with the SP in 6 months time.

Every time the directors have bought shares the SP has rocketed within weeks. Expecting a similar rise in the coming weeks. Topping up while it’s still under 300!

Buy PSX (Phillips 66). IMHO it is gonna fly next year. An incredibly stable and profitable share year after year prior to Covid and you can currently buy them half price but not for long. Please take a look and DYOR.

I believe the short to medium term SP will depend largely on the outcome of the following:

1. IAG Q3 update vs expectations
2. USA election - clear winner or prolonged court battle?
3. UK Govt revised air travel rules promised to be in place by 1st December. ( I include airport testing in this. )
4. phase 3 trials - how successful they are

A positive outcome for all 4 of these could see the SP hit 150p for Christmas. Ho ho ho!

Further SP jumps likely on the back of upcoming broker upgrades. Great to see my holding back in the green but a lot further to travel

SP is gonna rise because every day there is news that the vaccine is coming. It’s just a matter of how soon. As I keep saying once the pendulum starts swinging this will just keep rising. Lockdowns are the present Vaccines are the future!

Green on a red day elsewhere says a lot. Get on board WAM and make some £££. You know it makes sense!

Despite the collective efforts of many journalists there is no smoking gun because there isn’t one! It’s disappointing to read so much bigotry on this site. Just because they are wealthy and successful does not make them crooked. Sadly it will be small share holders who panic and get burnt due to all the BS.
