As soon as US opens up IAG share price will fly up

I have to say I’m annoyed that they haven’t issued an RNS on the accounts yet. Presume this will come tomorrow morning. It seems the accounts are to be delayed into July given the earlier statement on the AGM. Could be an interesting day tomorrow.

Steady stream of sells since 9.30, clearly some nervousness about the deadline

Be interested to know what the pattern looks like i.e. how much it looks like they are they gearing up production based on raw material imports

Guess this means we will get one after trading. Do people think this means the accounts will or won’t be submitted in time for today’s deadline?

@surfie look at the 6 month chart and it’s trend is very solid. I’m confident the next trading update in July will get it back on its upward trajectory. Not long to wait now!

Because I don’t believe the trading update is reflected in the current share price. Releasing the RNS about delayed accounts suppressed what I believe would have been a significant rise yesterday. If the accounts are ready tomorrow I believe we will see the rise tomorrow. If not it will come when the accounts are ready. Personally I hope the accounts aren’t ready tomorrow and nervous nellies sell off leading to an even better buying opportunity tomorrow afternoon. There is nothing is either RNS which gives me concern and I will be putting my money where my mouth is.

Gutted I missed buying at 10.5p this morning. You snooze you loose I guess! Freeing up some cash to be ready for any more buying opportunities. I think we will all have big smiles on our faces over the summer holidays!

I agree this is now a strong buy for the reasons laid out in posts below. Presumably if the accounts aren’t finalised tomorrow trading will be suspended from Thursday? If so tomorrow is the last chance to buy before trading recommences and the likely (IMO) jump in share price.

Looking at the date of previous H1 updates it seems 21st July is the most likely date for release. However as they recently completed M1 to M5 I think H1 could come out slightly earlier than previous years.

The change in Secretary of State for Health is a major plus for IAG shares. This shifts the balance of the cabinet to pro-opening up and quarantine free travel to Amber countries is imminent. Spain and Greece will not bow to Merkel as they can not afford to. The worst case would be that they limit travel to those who have been fully vaccinated which is now the majority of the adult population. By end of August the Indian variant will be the dominant strain across Europe so Merkel’s argument evaporates.
Disclosure: I have added IAG shares this morning as I believe there is an easy 20% back to 220p in the next month.

@GLAZKING as this is your first ever post on ITX I can only assume you have posted here in error

I think it’s very difficult to make any correlations at present because the company is growing and developing so fast and we just don’t know the size of the anticipated new customers. However, I do see a number of events during H2 which I belong will bring pleasing updates and jumps in share price:
1. H1 trading update in July (guessing 6th or 13th July). From this we will know the revenue in month 6 which I believe will be an acceleration from M1 to M5.
2. Announcements on new customers - possibly 3 RNSs
3. Announcements on new product(s)
4. H2 trading update
5. Unknown announcements emanating from the recent new investor who actively sought out ITX and was happy to invest at 12.1p

Just to clarify during the presentation I believe they said they were expecting to add 2 new major North American brands and 1 new major European brand with announcements in due course. I took this to mean 3 new major customers rather than 3 new products. This is likely to be more significant for short to medium revenue increase than new products which take time to build up sales.
Separately they also said they were launching a new product and currently busy working on new formulations and sitting on many chemistries.
Thus both the short and long term revenue picture looks incredibly exciting.

My guess is a new partnership or big contract win

@AJP reckon so! I will keep topping up at under 12p. I have more than enough ITX shares in my portfolio now but in my view it’s such a safe bet now that we know the company had a high quality investor banging on its door to buy at 12.1p. When I first bought in at 9 pence I was worried I might have missed the best in terms of return on shares but after yesterday I realise it is still very early days because as they said consumer markets are still in the early stages of converting to more sustainable products. I genuinely believe if I hold this stock long enough one day it will be worth a pound a share.

Andrey today’s RNS will help. You just need to be patient. Investments take time and I still believe KNB is a good attractive investment. The fundamentals have not changed since the stock was launched and steady progress is being made.

Thank you dougerboy and AJP. The great thing about getting a 5 month trading update followed by a H1 update is that we will see exactly how much revenue came in for the month of June. We can then compare that to the average revenue for the first 5 months to see how things are ‘starting’ to pick up.

I felt the presentation was very solid with clear reassuring answers given to all questions including my question on raw goods supply from China. There were also some golden nuggets in what they said (I took notes lol):
1. As others have commented it was an institutional investor who sought them out. They were “very attractive to us”.
2. Consumer markets are still in the early stages. Consumer markets are still in the early stages of converting to more sustainable products.
3. Formulation development in the last 6 - 8 weeks really picked up.
4. Second half aiming for 2 new major brands and 1 new major European brand. “We will keep you updated”.
5. Introducing one new product (I took this to mean a completely new formulation which would have multiple applications).
6. “Major revensue growth”.
7. “Very exciting stage of development”.
8. Lots of penetration with existing applications. Lots of opportunities for new applications and new products.
9. In answer to question 6 on Target revenue for second half of 2021. “Substantial growth year on year”.
10. “Vast range of chemistries we are sitting on”.
11. “Nice opportunities already emerging”.
12. When asked again on revenues
“Continue to expect healthy growth rates”
13. Slowdown every January / February as new products shelves changed. Really picks up in second quarter. Second half of year always much bigger. Just the ordering cycle.
