Agreed Phijeer. BPC need to RNS only if there is going to be a delay as that is market sensitive information, which they cannot hold so if there is no RNS then need not be worried at all as that implies that it is business as usual with drilling going ahead as planned.

We have seen these activists protesting in Jan/Feb but still Govt appointed independent third party consultants for Environmental impact assessment and issued clearance!Govt and BPC and went head and share price moved to 5.8p!

Moreover there is no extraction of oil remember. The drill is just to prove if oil is there are not so lots in favour of BPC!

Y'day was the profit taking day clearly. Back in Jan same thing happened. Drop from 3.8p to 3p and then punters had another go taking it to beyond 3.8p. Today onwards should be the build phase. I think today punters want to see the support level and clearly 3p should be the support as the profit takers who have top sliced y'day want to top slice again on the next leg up. If it ends at 3p or above then cooked spring bounce to 3.6p by Friday. Let's see. GLA

£10 M placing was not taken up by IIs to sell for a quick profit at 3.5p. IIs are aware that this is an exploratory well to confirm whether there are billion barrels of oil or not. They have supported BPC by taking up the placing shares and the subscription for placing shares was taken up next morning after the announcement on the evening before so that shows the confidence and interest on P1 and we have BOD invested as well.

Once the oil is confirmed then BPC will find a farm-in partner for extracting the oil.

Tymers it is very clear that you want to put a lid on SP rise so that you can sell out of your other stocks and then buy in here at a cheaper price. My worry is that Tymers constant negativity is putting off many and some are selling even causing the SP to drop. He talks about realism but definitely we can see that he himself is not being real as otherwise why attack any positive post immediately when you have £45k worth invested here? Anyone with right mind and invested in OMI would read a positive post and smile and ignore but not attack the poster so we can see who needs to get real here? £45k invested really?

Bit worrying about all the articles on Tesla being overvalued but S&P 500 entry would definitely scare the shorts and I don't know if many are closed already due to which the rise or still shorts on? I was hoping to see $500 today on S&P 500 news as Tesla has done intra day stellar rises.

Today's RNS is for such people to clear their doubts. All the funding is in place. We are all clear for the drill. US Coast guards are alerted about IceMax arrival soon! But looks some people still wants the confirmation that ship leaves from Las Palmas? I believe from tomorrow the rise will start as those who sold out will realise that 3.4p today is bargain compared to 5.8p we saw early this year when we were getting close to the March drill.

RNS has answered the what IF questions that some have about the drill. All hurdles are cleared and RNS clearly confirms that we are drilling. Many Gold CEOs said that there are not enough resources to boost the depleting reserves and that there will be acquisitions in Canada, Africa and elsewhere and OMI has top tier deposits and NM and the partner have stated drilling. Not long now for this to go up. With 2 big partners and top quality gold assets, we are very undervalued with 38M Mcap. OMI should be lot higher. Current SP is way too cheap. Bounce overdue.

Get real! All the funding by the institutional investors for the drill was for 35% chance and 10% chance? They have invested with the confidence that there is oil. How else Potter/BPC convinced the investors to fund the drill? I don't think there are going to pull out before the spud date like how others are planning to do? If there is no oil or only 10% CoS then I don't think IIs would fund this at all?
