With dividends being mentioned there is lot of upside from the current 22p.

not interested in the end of the day SP. If Prospectus is not published today then it may settle at 22p but if prospectus is published then it could rise significantly depending on how good the deal is.

Institutional investors will start loading up soon after the prospectus is revealed. RNS mentioned about dividends although am not in for dividends but anything that rewards shareholders is welcomed by the IIs.

No downside from here. Oil will fly next year so will be the SP.

I do not agree or may be I do not understand how a 10% tariff on UK companies would affect ITV revenues?

We have seen with covid impact revenue like for like in Q3 is down only some 22% I think?

If there are tariffs increasing then companies should do more advertising locally in UK to increase their sales?

well, I did the opposite. I'm back in at 27.5p for a small amount and will add. It could be that the yday CEO news as well as rise in gold price and just another thing that am guessing is the GDXJ fund accumulating again. Last time when they did, SP hit 39p and today SP hit 30.85p. we could see rise back to 39p again by next week.

I think many are still not confident that drill will progress despite BPC confirming that they are gathering funds for covid, which affects the drilling.

May be market wants a confirmation from BPC that legal threat is not going to impact the drilling. But BPC have implied this in the form of RNS last week about covid mitigation plan for the drilling.

We will see the rise probably from Friday or Monday once market realises that injunction is not going to materialise with drilling to start in 15 days. They have been touting about the legal threat since 3 weeks now? We now have support from opposition leader as well. Not sure what else market needs.

Tribune press did not share the article about the opposition leader supporting oil drill! Atleast I could not find it. Now they have new article today in which it is mentioned that QC is still reaching out to the govt to stop drilling and we have govt and opposition party supporting the drill!

All this injunction is just farce.

Another thing to note is that if the majority of the local people are against the drill then pretty sure the opposition leader would go with the local people as they need a way to attack the govt and win the next elections but the opposition is in Support of drilling! It means that the petition with 40,000 signatures are surely not all Bahamians! In the weekend, I have seen FB posts from the campaigners and I see that some of them who are campaigning aggressively are not from Bahamas!

I feel Bahamas govt will make sure that BPC will drill! It would be nice if Bahamas govt also puts out a statement in support of the drill just like the opposition leader did! Simon can then confidently put out another RNS to confirm the drill, which should attract investors back into BPC!

It is a fantastic news that even the opposition leader is in support of oil drilling! Clearly, the govt and the opposition leader can see the economic benefits of oil and are not worried about drilling the oil as long as it is done safely. So to me it looks like there is no stopping now for the drill. Also, the probability of finding oil is quite high and if the drill is successful then we can definitely see the Investec price targets of 39p and higher!

Nothing to worry about. The good news is that rig commenced already on Nov 15th and second rig to commence soon. Drill results soon.

Activists cannot get injunction to stop BPC from drilling. It is too late for them now. Why wait until now if they are so concerned? They could have sought injunction when the earlier drill ship was announced in Mar/Apr time.

Just on Saturday, Trump campaign's lawsuit about dismissal of mail in ballot votes in PA was rejected by the federal court. The court said why did they wait for this lawsuit until after the election results and why not before the elections.

May be am comparing apples and oranges but in my opinion the environmental activists should have got a court order to not drill for oil in Bahamas by any company long time back and not now at this stage when a company invested $100M already. Why was Bahamas Trust that Titan mentioned and the OIOF sleeping all these years without getting any court order?

If their injunction is based on the technicals about the EIA process then it will be strongly contested and they need to show money to pay back for all the damages before an injunction is approved.
