Appears the increase in outward cash flow is primarily due to cost cutting measures and the cyber attack. Strong revenue, cost cutting and a healthy EBITDA I particularly the low EBIT ratio.

If that’s the case regarding BNN then PFC customer relations should quickly discredit the report

Honestly, anything can happen with PFC, they could drop a great RNS and you’ll double your money in 5 mins or it could trickle down to previous lows or below.

If you want something more reliable I’d suggest Vodafone with a 11% dividend and currently very low SP or gamble with Superdry who might get bought out by the CEO??? Take your pick but good luck

Fair enough and I haven’t completely sold out but after reading that report I feel the risk is increasing. I’ll keep my reduced holdings as I can afford to loose it and watch for a recovery. If I see one, I may miss the initial bounce but if it’s a genuine bounce it’ll keep going. That’s the risk I’m prepared to take for now.

However you read it, it’s not good. D4E highlighted, regardless of the order intake if they can’t borrow the money to execute the contracts, they’re worthless. It looks like there is a future but it’s a way off yet. PFC have a lot to prove and that report suggests they’re continuing to fail.

Sorry but I’ve lost too much on PFC over the years and this reads like a nail in the coffin. You can only kick the can so far down the road.

Still some worth left but not for long. I’ve just sold all my holding at a loss, was a gamble, didn’t pay off. You win some you lose some. Won’t be worth a carrot soon.

I think you’ll find JD sold 4m shares in 2018 or 19 at £12 each raising £48m

They’ve basically restated what was said in December, drawn a line under April but no specific date in April yet. Gives the shorts atleast a month to play with us and position themselves. Not expecting a great set of results for 2023 but these legacy contracts were supposed to be completed end of 23 or early 24. I dare say another Tennet award will be announced with the update.

A lackluster RNS, however it would appear that Carlyle groups hard ball has softened. I think that alone is promising. March 4th was very specific and what seemed a make or break deadline.

Now, with the lack of a specified date, it’s open ended.

I’ve added more today on the basis shorts are decreasing and it’s March, another Tennet award is due and once this does turn the corner ie: cash flow sorted and finance in place to execute the projects awarded, as stated by the CEO, PFC has a bright future.

What I meant was JD could have sat back and done nothing and possibly the company would’ve ended up in administration at which point he could have rescued it on the cheap. Instead he’s gone public with his intentions to buy.

It’s more likely now that JD considers the cost reduction is working well and he believes the company has a bright future and now is an opportune time to make a bid and get his company back on the cheap.

Although he has been buying shares for 70p+ over the past 12 months it doesn’t suggest that his bid will be the same or even be accepted by the board at that price.

Meanwhile the MM’s have another 20 or so trading days potentially to play with the SP unless of course the bid comes before the deadline.

Just had a wild punt on this as it seems today is D day!

Watched ESKEN for some years now, the decline in SP is phenomenal. As of this morning I’m now holding just under 1.1m shares, an all or nothing trade which I accept may well turn to nothing but worth a punt if ESKEN can manage a reasonable settlement.

Lots of opinions over the weekend, some trolls claiming CVA etc.

If JD wanted to liquidate the company and by it on the cheap surely he wouldn’t go public with an intention to buy it now, the SP was in serious decline at an all time low after poor results. Whilst if possible to enter liquidation and buy the cream on the cheap would seem a more cost effective way of acquiring the business, this clearly isn’t his chosen route.

I therefore believe a bid is incoming, could be any day and any amount but with effective cost savings ongoing and working the current Mcap appears to low?
