Correct. Directors have to notify the market (we'd get an RNS) if they buy or sell even a single share. We'll know by close of Thursday if that was him.

Just a quick note: over the next 3 days, we may well get tr1 notifications telling us major holders have changed their holding. Because the number of shares in issue changes tomorrow when the placing hits the market, these may not tell you, on the surface, how much someone has bought or sold.

In particular, if the sheikh appears to have gone down by 2 percentage points, check the actual number of shares held. A percentage reduction of this order may simply indicate he didn't but any more at the placing. Doubtless some would panic in that scenario and spread the word that he's reducing his stake and losing interest.

We'll find out soon enough. To prevent misunderstanding, forewarned is forearmed.

I'm not disagreeing, I'm genuinely unclear whether it's 6 months from the resolution to become a cash shell or 6 months from that resolution being enacted as we become one.

Of course, I and others here hope it won't be down to the wire of whether 4 days makes a material difference.

As for the missing uplift, a while ago I went through the RNS over the past few years. The only time they issued an RNS to notify the market of uplift results were December last year and March this year. In both cases there were extra details in that uplift result that made it especially significantly. So it's not their practice to issue RNS for uplifts unless something about it makes it especially pertinent. Anyone feeling frustrated we haven't heard about the June one just needs to recalibrate expectations.
