Not sure if posted but in case not some good details on ITP Aero and B52:
“Rolls-Royce will receive total cash proceeds of about €1.7bn, while the proposed sale values ITP at an enterprise value, which includes debt, of about €1.8bn. The deal is still subject to certain conditions, including regulatory clearances, but is expected to close in the first half of next year. Rolls-Royce said ITP Aero would remain a key strategic supplier.
Separately, Rolls-Royce said it had reached a deal to supply F130 engines for the US Air Force’s B-52 fleet for the next 30 years. The contract could be worth up to $2.6bn.”

Shares don’t move up in straight lines. Most of these HFs are traded on algos based on TA so e.g. when RSI runs hot will sell off. Day traders know money to be made on RR today so will pocket profits and move on hence pullback now.
Volume is still excellent atm and has been for nearly 2 weeks. There may be a slight pullback over the next few days now all the good news is out unless more surprises :)
There may be a trading update in Jan but can’t see this retracing unless there is a wider market correction or new COVID variant
Anyone seen any additional news on the potential value of this new deal announced in the RNS?
RR is motoring now all these extra bits of good news are great such as this US Airforce deal and Airtanker small cash raise. Be interesting to see if there are any revised broker targets if all goes smoothly with ITP Aero.
Just remember Rycey trades way lower number of shares daily than RR so the trend will always be set by RR.

My point is that you said EZJ is doomed as no-one wants to travel anymore and this will be 500 again yet you then closed your short. This means you think EZJ will rise again which is in complete conflict to what you have told ppl for months on end.
Give it a few yrs and this could be at £2.50/3. Lot of debt still to payback in mid 2020s

Taverham I have asked why Smithy closed his short position twice and had no answer either. Also mysteriously both my posts asking this question have disappeared is this what happens when someone reports your post?
Volume has been v high since middle of last week as ppl stepping back to buy in. As soon as volume thins out this will correct back a bit but right now buyers firmly in control.
Dinvestoy agreed the CEO is being v smart there copying Elon Musk at Tesla and using e.g. Crypto as a catalyst to create a buzz. RR don’t connect with shareholders outside RNS or investor updates. As I said before can’t see Warren East tweeting about whether to accept Dogecoin as payment on RR products.
I would say AMC and GME are unique FAD stocks appealing to the so called “apes” not sure RR is exciting enough for them. For e.g. AMC said they will accept cryptos in their cinemas from the end of year - no chance RR would do things like that.
Rycey short interest would have to ramp up quite a bit I’d assume to create a meme style run. If you get lucky though can make a ton of money e.g Tesla from $100 to $750
Agreed Red SP never goes up in straight line but do think with ITP Aero coming there is more immediate upside coming. After that will be up and down through the winter
Red - I think topping up at 87 was a bit of an unknown as it was pre HY results which was a massive surprise that RR made profit and not a reasonable loss. The big top up chance was last week at 105 and fair play to Falky he took advantage
Falky selling up too early surely? - don’t see a better UK share on the market than RR at the moment considering future potential. U have your eyes on something better?
RR holding well despite travel stocks all in the red today. Finally ppl recognising RR should be treated differently to rest of travel stocks.
Falky - as long as u make profit that is fine as no-one can ever predict the top of a range exactly. My main learning is not to chase although I do regret not topping up on core position when this was 105 last week
Remember minimal resistance up till 130 - after that is exploratory as not been there since post the RI
