The placement shares being issued will NOT neccesarily affect the share price tomorrow. Not unless the MM's think they can take advantage of shareholder confusion.
Why?
Because on AIM the share price rarely reflects the value of the company. Sometimes it drastically over values the company. Sometimes (like us) it drastically undervalues the company.
What can affect the price short term but won't hold us back medium to long term is shareholder sentiment (especially with tons of newbies). The MM's and the Trolls are well aware of this.
They'll be happy for you to engage in irrelevant placement discussions all afternoon

The info you seek has not been made public. But we know that the completed test involves cytivia marrying up AVCT's now completed assay with their already completed strip. This doesn't sound as though it will be rocket science (though I will defer to our experts on here). Once the kit is complete the stops will be pulled out to validate ASAP. The US in particular seems to be falling over itself to validate everything (to the extent that Mike Pence even seemed to suggest companies could validate their own products)

the meeting is tomorrow. the shares will be admitted the day after.
The only difference we will see is that there will be no peeps thereafter fretting about it!

Awax. Sometimes placees are tempted to sell their shares in the run up to a placement on the basis that they know they will have these replaced by hugely cheaper placement shares.
They shouldn't but hey ho.
Someone who knows more than me can perhaps comment on whether the Market Makers can legally do this, Different rules apply to them.

I was getting mixed up between the analysts meeting and the GM.
All good because that little niggle will be out of the way in the next couple of days.
I have little doubt that the resolution for the placement will pass.

The question of whether or not the placing goes through is down to whether or not there are sufficient votes against to counter the votes for of all the places.
The reason I think it will in any event make little difference to current price is
1.most of the shares will have imo probably been forward sold and
2. in any event should there be any offloading it will be easily soaked up by willing purchasers.

the gm for the placing has been moved to May duster.
And whether or not the proposed placing is approved will have no effect on the price as has been discussed here already.
