My advice would be to not invest further and switch off. Its easy to get into a panic, when the price drops, I know only too well as I had a strop a couple go weeks back and I'm usually v calm.

That said, I did buy on the dip but I'm done with Avacta now and will let it play out. Logic says this will go places but it is a waiting game and nothing like we saw with NCYT. Pennies one day, pounds the next.

Be patient and hold and switch off. Also remember the difference between opinions and facts. This board gets very murky at times.

Was listening to LBC earlier, Tom Sawbrick. Discussing testing in schools to be commonplace from September if not earlier. Was on around 6pm ish.

And yes Vegas I do post on other shares. This caught me on a bad day, normally I'm not so vocal. Just a bit effed off with this bloody nonsense combined with a day off with not a lot on. So not ideal. Apologies for rants. Just annoyed. Cheers.

Others here are promising tests for airports and markets, that's great but fact is we have no orders, we've had a terrible presentation and a poor RNS. What on earth were they thinking?

Last week I read that testing would be needed for a few months out of lockdown.

Now we see that being double vaccinated means a free pass. If you're not, then you need to test. Seems to me that over the past few weeks the government have been putting the heat under those not vaccinated to get vaccinated as a way out of lockdown. If that's good enough, why bother with a test if in essence with a jab you experience mild symptoms?

Avacta need to come out with a statement or pull a rabbit out of the hat. The share price slide, poor presentation and pointless RNS seems like a desperate attempt to plug holes.

Still in talks is positive but don't be foolish, can go one of two ways. The share price seems to think so.

Then surely an RNS should be released.

The company has watched its share price slide. They have said nothing since.

Maybe they're happy with the slide. That way it's built in to the price when they announce the news we're not expecting.

The government has ratcheted up vaccine takeup, I spoke to a friend that manages a centre earkier and she said they've been absolutely flat out like never befeoe with people getting the jab...

With respect, I think it is perfectly in the rights of an investor, like myself, to question. If you see this as a deramp, where we're you yesterday?

Meanwhile it continues to slide. We've seen this before but never this magnitude. Abingdon are seeing the same slide... Both Abingdon and Avacta linked to the sovereign test. Coincidence?

The company could bring out a carefully worded RNS to stem what's clearly lack of confidence in the business, given yesterday's RNS and presentation.

Sentiment has changed, and not just a little bit. The company recently saw drops but nothing to this magnitude.

You can dress it up as retracing or MM games but even I'm starting to question what's happening, right before my eyes. Folks are ditching and quicker than you could bail out if the Titanic.

This is a massive slide in price, given where we were last week and the company has no tools in its armour to combat it. That surely speaks volumes.

I'm watching GB news. Quite like it, especially because so many are outing themselves as woke, with 'their way or the highway' fake Liberal tolerance and running to twitter demanding advertisers pull out.

I also watch BBC and Sky... Nice to get a balance of reporting and watch peoepe implode into a puddle of mess.
