Just for info, with platforms like Hargreaves, you can keep cash in a Fund & Share account.
If you have ISA & SIPP accounts they will default to the cash account for their management fees.
In a way it's like being able to put more money into an ISA or SIPP.
I know it isn't really, but it makes a difference if those are already sizeable accounts, and does save H-L from selling off your tax-protected account assets.

I'm just about to see a dividend from my BP holding for last Q4.
I have written off any chance of a Q1 div this year, despite BP's insistence that their dividend will always be paramount and that they'd sell assets to maintain it.
I'm not reducing my holding though and am sitting on most of my portfolio now, taking things easy.

Did buy Shell B at the same time I first bought BP four years ago, purely for diversification, but then sold them within a month, believing BP to be a much better option.
I've traded BP as well during those four years.
The trading return was better than their annual dividend, but not as great as trading UKOG during the same period.

I don't see it happening for a while.
If it does, I can see the restrictions being relaxed and re-imposed.
The aim being to use the population as guinea pigs.
When hospital beds free up, more will be exposed to the infection.
Then restrictions will be re-imposed so the hospitals can cope again.
In this way the vaunted "herd immunity" will be created, until vaccines are widely available.

I'm not trading it at the moment but have done.
If it's any help, my investments are all from my pension and ISA, held by Hargreaves.
Hargreaves has a facility to leave pending orders up to 3 months.
As soon as I buy or sell, I set up a contrary instruction to sell or buy once the price reaches my desired level.
(Otherwise I'd never be able to keep up).
Not necessarily a recommendation for H-L, just that I know some platforms/brokers don't do this (for some reason).

Wow!
I just got back from the shops.
Had no idea it was so bad.
It felt like I was in the USSR forty years ago.
People going into shops with shopping bags full of empty shopping bags.
They seem to be bulk-buying fresh fruit and veg now, which seem like a sensible idea.
Because that kind of thing will never rot if you over-stock and can't eat it all (sic).

Yes.
There's plenty of fresh food left.
Zombies can't cook fresh food.
It's well known.
But they're deeply concerned about personal hygiene.
