Two negative possibilities that I'm aware of.

1) Despite our current situation, there has been speculation that fuel tax may be increased again.
2) There has also been speculation about removing the IHT incentive for investing in AIM companies.

I've profited from it and also have some still invested, just in case.
I do still have some optimism but am wary of future board strategy based upon some of their decisions up to now.
The share issues have caused the bulk of the drop.
You might see 2p again this year if there's a product to show the market.
If there is not a significant increase on what's surfacing now though, probably not.

I can afford to be optimistic and think the reward lies further in our future (2 years? 3 years? Who knows? I wouldn't listen to the more "over-optimistic" or "over-pessimistic" posters on here - I feel the truth is somewhere in between them).
Fortunately I don't need the money straight away and can sit and wait it out for a few years.

On paper they may be able to.
But there's a lot of pressure on them not to.
BP, for instance, owns about a fifth of Rosneft.
They'll need to start selling the silverware again while the price is below $50/b. just to maintain their dividend (which they are always keen to maintain as being bullet proof).
I seem to recall talk of Bob Dudley retaining his seat on Rosneft's board as well, after stepping down as CEO of BP (I may be wrong).

They were saying over the weekend that the problem is that it's not really up to the Saudis anymore.
With Chump & Putin both turning the taps on, in their own little spat, MBS has had to go the same way.
OPEC will probably try to force the price down (spiting their own face) to try to bring everyone else back into line again.
If it doesn't work, he's risking the future of OPEC and OPEC+.
It will mean a glut that nobody's able to dissipate, so the price of Brent and WTI will be down for ages.

I mostly agree, although progress is rather frustrating.
I am optimistic about UKOG's ultimate future (mostly), but do still have concerns.

Scally, I think patience is key here.
It's not going to be tomorrow, or "over the weekend".
But, eventually, we should see some kind of returns, depending on how financing is raised from here on in.
Personally, I am holding shares which I already have set Sells for at 1.3p up to 10p.
How long they take to achieve those levels are what it's all about for me now.

Hope yer mistaken about oil Ewqwe, although 30's does seem likely.
20's would even give BP and Shell problems.
When it happened four years ago, BP were having to sell off the family jewels just to protect their dividends.
I bought BP at £3.20 (first time I ever got directly involved in my own portfolio management - lolol).

Btw, following a tip from Ewqwe (and BWM) a couple of weeks ago on a vaccine product made me 30% in one day.
He's long-holding and I'm trading it, which I've done a few times already.
We're both up.
I wouldn't listen to just anyone on this forum.

I've been quite open about my UKOG holdings and trades.
Not as any kind of boast, just to let others know and say, "Look, there are other ways to make a profit here".
I have £50k still invested UKOG and my first Sell is at 1.3p (if we ever see that again).
I have banked another £50k.

Recently I have only been able to trade UKOG (quick buys and sells) once in December (15% profit), once in January (10%, I think), and once in February (another 10%).
The opportunity vs risk is not as good as it was when I made most of my profit here.
You could trade this three times a day for 10%+ three years ago.
I've never made £60k in a single trade.
However I did make a 300% profit once (my first UKOG trade), which is still my best.
I have also (UKOG again) made 30% in one minute.

I did say I'd bought more Oil yesterday, but that was not in UKOG.
I've bought in to the markets a lot this week and have no more free cash left to invest now.
Just hunkering down to wait it all out.

I bought more oil today (one was down 30% today and 600% from where I last sold it, back in February) but not UKOG.
At my UKOG limit now, whatever happens.
Will sell what I have left, at the prices I'm already holding for, if/when able and that's the whole of my UKOG strategy moving forward.
