And the spread goes up and down more often than the price.

Hi skinny, there's a lock-down in place in the UK.
The 'eyes', and everyone else, are only allowed out to shop and exercise once per day, so any observations are just 'in passing' now.
If they're not there when a truck's around, they won't see it and can't report it.

I see the same .4 SP value quoted on Google, LSE and Investor.
HL says .35 but they only ever post the closing bid price (sometimes not even that and I've long ago given up complaining to them about it).

There were as many tankers as reported.
That is all.
There were not more just because you may want there to have been.

Maybe it went up yesterday because of a certain four tanker visits.
Many are waiting to see evidence of a product.
As such has not been in evidence today, maybe there was a reaction.
I am not saying this was the case, merely speculating.

Just been listening to Blackrock on Bloomberg suggesting prices will continue to fall.
This on the basis that there is a still a glut but the next problem is where to store all the oil being over-produced.
Storage is already becoming more expensive and shipping companies are leasing ships as floating storage, whose prices are already increasing.
In order to divest themselves of those costs oil companies will need to sell current stocks.
But nobody's using it, so they'll have to slash prices further or pay higher storage.

HOWEVER, once useage begins again they specualted that oil prices would rocket to recover the same storage costs.
That would not necessarily be reflected in the SP of oil companies whose profits would still be suffering for a while from the same costs.

Happy to review and discuss, but genuinely not sure I'd agree;

My posts have been to provide visibility on trading possibilities to those who have not considered it.
I have posted them in advance and upon completion, I've had no losses with UKOG although my current holding is down in value.
Sadly there has been little opportunity of late (at least for my appetite/gut-feeling).

I have recently made critical posts of those contributors posting SP forecasts which are pure fantasy (positive and/or negative) and seem to do so solely in order to create false sentiment from which they might dump their holding onto others.

I have tried to be as open as reasonable with figures of my holding (UKOG related), which is currently down around 50% from purchase but I have banked considerably more in profits made anyway.
I have traded to get those, but also have a long position too.

I do aim to be polite or, at least, diplomatic.
The extreme pricers do challenge me though, as they are quite an immature interference with what should be a constructive source of information and debate.

I appreciate your opinion though and thank you for contributing.
Feel free to hold me up for scrutiny (everyone else does, lolol).

You can leave a 'pending order' to buy when it reaches a certain price.
I mostly use this to buy and sell anything with H-L.

H-L has been ridiculously slow since the virus hit (not sure of the connection there).
Live purchasing (especially UKOG) has been a nightmare every tine there's any volatility.
