I can't access it either (without subscribing) but yeah.
I keep saying this whole 'green' thing, while necessary and admirable, is pretty daft in the terms the soundbite generation want.
The birth rate is still outpacing the speed needed to convert away from fossils, even when they eventually run out.
And by then the resources required for a green transition will, themselves, be exhausted.
We will have also probably found a reason to transition away from those as well by then.
Fossil fuel is just a distraction from the real truth;
There are too many people, using limited, with nowhere else to move to.
The 15 year-old (probably 16 by now) irritating 'how-dare-you' schoolgirl needs to forget about her fossil-fuel school project and start focussing on restricting the global birth rate.
Or upon where her generation plan to re-locate to and how.
Otherwise the human race experiment will be over in four or five generations.
Maybe less.
The only positive side of that which I can see is that I won't be around to experience it.
