Many US states that are not in lock down are now recording more cases per person than US states which did lock down several weeks ago at the time they locked down.

UK locked down at 10 cases per 100K, many US states now at 30 - 40 cases per 100K and still not in lock down.

This predicts very bad results in terms of death rates, and the testing will therefore go on much longer than anticipated probably well in excess of 12 months, not just a few weeks.

Very high peaks in terms of death rates anticipated in the US over the next several months.

But as for having no interest in oil and gas Forum Energy Services Ltd (our 23%+ shareholder) does own Saltfleetby Energy Ltd which in turn does own 49% of the Saltfleetby gas field.

But the ownership trail goes cold with Paul Forrest - it shouldn't really, so - is that asset ultimately held on behalf of someone else and is just "parked" with Forum for convenience?

And our two new directors do seem much more interested in African minerals rather than oil and gas - but then again AAOG was born as Namibian Resources plc, so maybe we will revisit the company's roots.

But I guess the most important thing is Forum are putting in cash, so at least it doesn't look like we will go under anytime soon.

There are many things to be worried and concerned about but the YGEN share price is not one of them.

There is no need for this company to get into a spat with the government.

It would waste valuable management resources.

Just keep doing what they are doing - producing, selling more and RNS that.

It is the government which is on the back foot, and they will continue to be as the number of deaths rises towards a thousand each day.

They will come round and approach the company, eventually, as the pressure mounts.

Perhaps they are the excuses of a government which is way behind the curve and which has now been found out.

Turns out the tests are Chinese-made Bioeasy, the same company Spain found to be only 30% accurate and sent back to China.

Just think - if the whole cabinet gets it we'll be £10!

I think there is an amazing understated complacency concerning the whole COVID-19 matter.

It was only a few days ago Boris was in close contact with the governments Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientific Adviser, and no doubt countless others also.

And as for the Chinese tests being only 30% accurate - do people really think that is just chance?

In fact if they were useless they'd be at least 50% accurate.

Warfare by other means, I suspect.
