It is rare in AIM to have a company that hits the right number of sweet spots. In the past I have invested in up to 6 AIM shares at t time. It didn't go well most of that time. Today I am invested in 2.

HEX has, since the Rudyard commercial RNS:

- had a very low SP compared to proven resources (very low risk now for Rudyard at least at these prices)

- often has a very small spread - this is rarely mentioned but is a very significant factor

- has very strong news flow for the foreseeable future with potential further value from other prospects

- has an expert BOD

It is a sweet spot AIM company to me. I will hold certainly for most of this year. would never say I wouldn't sell 'any' of a holding but I think a multiple of today's price will happen in the summer. My choice, me responsibility.

Ironically I was introduced to HEX by someone on these message boards that I really do not trust. That's where doing my own research came in.

FWIW - I only invest a small amount of my monies into AIM for funsies and dream about that big win but I can afford to lose all of it and it won't make a difference to my life. Of course if I got lucky it could make a positive difference but I'm mean about how much I invest. It would be great to pay off a chunk of the mortgage.

Ezhic. If they prove out a second production well - well that's the charm. It basically means the subsequent wells will be productive too (almost certainly). Market will gap up because it can safely de risk the prospect of HEX being able to successfully achieve the full value of the asset.

Thursday is above freezing with temperature increasing to 6 above freezing over a few days.

Whether they can get going depends on access to the site, quality of road and whether show has cleared, mud etc.

But they are used to this type of weather and if I was the site manager, knowing I have time to complete the 10 days acid stimulation and flow test, I would plan to start this weekend knowing that things will be cleared up.

Yes. The funding position is in hand this year. Usually this would be considered very good news indeed!

IMO the SP has dropped a little today because traders are punting on re entry news for Clink. Nothing to do with the RNS content.

Traders want near term speculative news on a Monday morning and expected it.

Investors are interested in production and longer term objectives.

Current market is a traders market. That's AIM for you.

Folks. This is just semantics. Nothing changes due to the content of today's RNS. Just combing through looking for contradictions which are just tiny things isnt good for your health.

All plans are subject to change, especially when third parties are involved. I'm a programme manager by trade. Trust me when I tell you that when a BOD issues a plan they are very likely telling you what they want to happen and someone on the ground will be shouting 'no way!!'

However - in the case of HEX, the BOD appears to be fundamentally correct on timeline with a bit of give for real life. They will get things done by when they can get things done. Stuff will happen, it's complex work. BUT it doesnt get better than this company for delivering what they say they will.

RNS - 4th Feb

'Acidisation of the Charles Formation is expected to commence in mid-February 2025, depending on local weather conditions, with flow rate results available approximately ten days from the commencement of operations. Results of the flow testing will be announced alongside assay results of any gas recovered from the operation.'

It won't take 10 days to stimulate the well. Acidisation is quick and assuming it flows they will start flow test immediately it flows.

The near term risk is does Charles in Clink 1 flow. Not will they try.

Important to note that annual reports are required to present the findings of the period ended with limited emphasis on forward plans. It was probably written days ago and the auditors/legal would have needed to paw through it before it was issued. I wouldn't see this as superseding some of the more recent interviews. The reference to 'in coming weeks' for Clink reentry is not in any way indicative of a delay IMHO - probably written a couple of weeks ago.

Clink re entry any day now. weather seems quite bad but not beyond operational limits. If I was in charge of the crew I would wait until the weather improved if I knew it was going to improve - some on here suggesting Thursday forecast is favourable. It will not be end March due to environmental restrictions re the grouses.

I'm expecting Clink 1 re entry RNS this week.

Bo says 'at least' 2 more wells at Rudyard, this does not exclude more than 2. DM says production in Q2, BS says helium plant to be moved to site by end summer. Semantics. It's a forming plan and they intend to do what they can as fast as they can within the realms of risk - which is what will happen.

It says 'at least' 2 more wells this year. Semantics. Could be more. 2 would be a huge achievement if in production.

Start of new operations for Charles due mid Feb. So any moment now.

It's an interesting paradox - why is the HEX SP so low considering what they have coming into production this year - BUT I doubt todays HE1 increase has much to do with the BlueStar venture. Precisely because it doesnt hold the value required. Not that I don't think its a good thing for HE1.

Having seen a few HE1 raises I can tell you that heavy selling is the best indication of a raise coming.... not the SP going up.

About a million late reported trades just now added to the daily trade count on Investing.com.

Actually those late reported trades from first thing could be buys. Such a tight spread for days.

I'm looking out for the seller coming back when it sees the price over 15p. Let's hope they are done. Some chunky sells first thing now coming through as late reported.
