Evening Copperpot.
you brought back a few memories (AKA nightmares) for me there.
Todd Kozel and the GKP court case indeed.
My first share holding ever - and learned a lot of lessons.
Expensive lesson at that.
Followed that court case every day while on holiday.
I recall many GKP posters from then (were we all on iii back then?)
“Land bricks oil” and a fellow architect called “Arundallio” were so sure we would all be millionaires. They didn’t account for the CEO being a crook.
At least we don’t have that worry here at Solg with St Nick.
I still know Arundalio through the “Glasgow architects mafia” but never been brave enough to ask how much he lost.
skint
I have been a holder here for 6 years and read this BB most days (although there are some posters I skip - if I remember to glance at the name before I start reading)
Genuine Question
Why is there so much chat on this BB mentioning Barrick Gold being interested in SOLG...?
I am sure they might be but I have not found any article or source to say they have expressed an interest other than "they should be" as we are a Tier 1 with great prospects and shed loads of Copper + Gold.
What's not to love?
They get mentioned almost every day - is this self perpetuated wishful thinking or have I missed something explicit...?
Thanks in antici......................................................................... pation.

Scotch. At last- a topic on here that I can join in on.
My nightcap changes every night - and tonight i am finishing an excellent 18 year old Bowmore.
Which means tomorrow - i will have to go buy a replacement.
It would be rude not to.

DFS - Is end June 2021 not January
Nice to see so many encouraging posts and old faces returning.
I wonder if it is because our BB policeman has taken a break and alternative opinions can now be discussed.
I am just wondering how our Southampton (?) taxi driver with 1.2 million of Solg shares is doing these days. I hope he held his nerve when down at 12p and has stayed safe driving “randoms” about in his cab.
Every penny rise is worth £12,000 to him and today we had 2p
Anyone in touch with Lostagain?
skint
"Wish we had been able to hoover these up at whatever price they got down to was it 13p or 11p.....!"
Great confidence there.
I had noticed that the poster who annoyed everyone on here for months - banging on about "a completely random prediction of 11p soon" - had gone silent.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed that said poster (who shall remain nameless here) - perhaps had the decency to realise that their "wild guess" (and obvious wind up) had only come true because of a virus that has / could kill millions.
i was prepared to congratulate said individual for finding a spine and not gloating (as this virus made his 11p prediction come true through no skill on his part).
But.............. looks like they were banned a month back (at least).
so - imagine (and enjoy) the agony of that wee bam sitting in his mum's 3rd bedroom - wishing he could still post to
tell us "he was right all along"
Karma
Evening all,
I am bored and have enjoyed a few Highland Parks tonight.
Skint " Architect" is indeed how i remain.
Hopefully I am one red dot away from becoming ...... " Slightly less skint architect"
so
who do we have on the board?
Any of you wish to say what kind of "skint xxxx" you are?
Might be interesting to learn who does what while we wait it out through a loooooooooong Solg never ending winter.
Any more skint and all 24 stone of me may have to go back to my "skint underwear model" career
You can all keep that mental picture.
It is late, one of us is drunk and we are all friends.
skint (Architect).
Good morning from a very wet Glasgow.
Long time holder since 2013 and still with a healthy low average.
Please do not read this thought as negative.
I remain very positive (optimistic?) about SOLG - just very, very frustrated it has taken so long and the Company is telling us so little.
Anyhoooo
I am wondering if - "SolGold have made exploration in Ecuador look....... too easy...?"
Our first mover advantage allowed us to pick great tenements - and with 10 , 11, 12....is it now 13 priority targets from what was once 77 tenements...... is it possible the other players we would like to show interest in us , (Gina Rhineheart) for one , can simply bang a drill in the ground and "make their own" Alpala?
I know they will have the same interminable issue with drilling permits - but when eventually released , will they pay dearly for something that appears to be popping out the ground all over this country.
Just the ramblings of a skint architect - but drilling and waiting 5 years to prove it up (as we have done) is nothing in Geological years.
Skint.
Mystique.
I am pleased you have 2 Billion shares, but no need to call yourself that.
Skint
And quite bloated too.
I have tried hard to keep track of who the good guys are and who are the so called infestors.
But .... I have given up as I really can’t tell the difference.
Scourge if all social Madia (I am told) trolls - and those who can’t ignore them and clog the board up with tit for tat childish guff.
So much great new to come before March is done (IMHO)
Skint.
My March 56p didn't work so .......,,,, stuck me down for 70p on 1st September
please

There is a lot of good info in this new presentation / web site.
i think we would have considered some of this as great news - if it had been issued in an RNS
page 26 for example.
Continuing to expand in many direction - and they list 3 holes (not included in MRE2 .....75.....86......93)
2019 drilling programmer to include Alpala NW, Trivinio, Alpala western Limb,Alpala North, South and NE. ..... Malt and Cristal. (i hadn't even heard of some of these.
extensions -
3 rigs moving to Trivino
2 rigs moving to Malte
they also mention awaiting Asseys from some very high numbered holes
Gave me a wee boost while suffering this new infestation.
nice to see business is continuing as usual including asseys
They obviously are still finding great stuff - and cracking on but (hopefully for good reasons) they have turned the news tap off since late last years.
good luck all - "some day Rodney"

more than likely........................ but don't call me surely...!
Boom Boom
firstly - wow what a fantastic update and nice to have it early - if only to save a repeat of December 2017 with various scaremongerers running about in circles asking "where is it, something must be wrong" every 2 minutes. For a month.
well done NM and his entire team.
I am confused though.
Posters i admire and who undoubtedly know more than me (i colour in for a living) say there are xxx thousand metres of core ready to be added to MR 3. However, deep into the RNS this morning i read this.........
The November 2018 Alpala MRE update was estimated from 68,173 assays, with 66,739 assays representing diamond drill core samples, and 1434 assays representing rock-saw channel samples cut from surface rock exposures. Drill core samples were obtained from total of 133,576m of drilling comprising 128 diamond drill holes, including 75 drill holes (Holes 1-75), 34 daughter holes, 8 redrills, and 11 over-runs, and represents full assay data from holes 1-67 and partial assay data received from holes 68 to 75. Rock-saw samples were obtained from 2743m of rock-saw cuts from 262 surface rock exposure trenches. In contrast, the Dec 2017 Maiden MRE was estimated from 26,814 assays obtained from 53,616m of drilling comprising 45 drill holes (Holes 1-33) including 10 daughter holes and 5 redrill
QUOTE ENDS
Am i reading this right that this mornings update included partial asseys from the most recent drill holes? (68 - 75)
Does this reduce the metres drilled and waiting to be included in the NEXT update?
This is not a deramp - i may be Scottish - but we are NOT all like Jmilley - honest.
2019 could be a another belter.
Skint
I am no expert (obviously) but perhaps they take the view that there will always be plenty of additional drills whenever they decide to draw the line for an update.
with 12 drills, experienced crew, very fast daughter holes and faster assay turn around - the metres soon rack up.
just my thoughts.
"hello everyone" by the way.
skint
i am on holiday at the moment with Mrs Handsome Architect.
And £10k less skint than last Wednesday.
Even though i am on holiday - I am going to be up bright and early tomorrow - i suspect i will be one of many looking for that wee red dot.
Good luck to all holders - old and new.
skint.
Good game FR101
enjoying an 18 year old Bowmore tonight and my dart in the board goes for ......... 56p but i hope i am wrong and it is higher.
Skint Architect.
The H6 lesser watch. ........ "this time next year Rodney...... we will be millionaires"
except Thomas Oo7 and Jmilley they will still be "very naughty boys"

Hope nobody minds the distraction from throwing jobbies at each other. After 18 years investing (insert your own joke in here) with iii - the recent web site update has "lost me". why they let A 10 year old design a site for grown ups escapes me. aside from the annoyance of how horrid it is - i now fear for the very survival of iii and wish to move my billions elsewhere. Would any of you kind souls recommend Hargreaves Landsdown - and care to comment on the ease (or pain) of transfer (does it really take 2 - 3 weeks) as mentioned on the HL home page? sorry for the interruption to the usual late evening jobbie slinging. skint.
