Reading about Pepas, Pepas West and hopefully soon, Pepas South reminded me of Jason Ward Ex Solgold geologist.

Back in the heady days when Solgold was doing well, Jason did a great job of explaining that surface discoveries, like our at Pepas can be thought of as “fingers” reaching upwards. The game is then all about “finding the hand” / the source that connects the fingers.

Imagine what that might look like and contain - if all we are finding at present - are the fingers.

My comments were a discussion between two adult Investors and my history and profit was not Bragging. Trust me on that.

If I wanted to brag I would list my EEE or SOLG History and profits. Or send you a photo to show you how handsome I am.....!

I am walking a fine line here - wishing to demonstrate my Bona Fides as a "real OMI investor" who still believes in the journey - while trying to help others understand that there will be "reluctant sellers" even though they still believe the story.

The line is fine as I do not want to be misconstrued as a basher or a de ramper. Hence posting my History and comments about a bright future.

The various end of 2025 Web chats and promises of news flow have not materialised - and I would like our Board to address the obvious frustration these past 6 months have caused the OMI faithful.

I wish you well in your Investment journey and that you too make good profits - which I think is what we are all here for.

I am saying i am not happy with the last 6 months news flow from OMI.

Don’t get me wrong. OMi has been one of my best shares making c£100k profit trading highs and lows in those 7 years.

But the current “lost opportunity” cost of being a holder - is a pain.

That is the context in which i spoke to RICH3r (another LTH).

I do believe OMI has plenty of growth potential (or I would sell all) - but i have a right to say that the Board are disappointingly quiet - considering all the prospects and drilling they are doing. I would even buy them a trumpet - if they fancy blowing it.

The war in Iran is a global nightmare. But IMHo has no bearing on omi (sorry to disagree with you LW), I like and follow most of your posts. There are plenty of companies releasing RNS’s that see their shares responding well - take ITM as an example.

To help your wondering - here is my OMI journey.

I think there will be plenty of people, like me who remain convinced of the huge potential for OMI - but are simply fed up waiting for the "news flow / busy RNS period" Brad has been suggesting since October 2025.

I am a LTH with my first OMI bought September 2018 at 12.229p and multiple times since with my lowest purchase at 2.32p January 2021.

I now find myself holding an eye watering, (for me) 1,694,714 shares at an average of 15.86p across my ISA and SIPP.

While I truly believe OMI can easily double from here and perhaps multi bag - I am getting frustrated by the slow news - and silence from OMI towers. Watching some of my other shares like RR, ITM, SSE, GAW, Micron and Samsung soar - while OMI sits static is frustrating.

In October 2025 I made a list of all the shares I want to buy "when OMI pops" - and I am still waiting. So I have to admit - I have been a seller recently, (but not at a loss) as I gently reduce my OMI holding and move money to more active shares. I suspect there are many LTH's in my position - which could account for the selling.

The good news though - OMI is sure to rocket as I sell ............. but I will always hold a decent sized chunk and will buy back in if and when news is finally released on the numerous fronts OMI are pursuing.

Watching the curling ……. as you do …. and i had a thought or two about the stones. We are told every 10 minutes that they come exclusively from Ailsa Craig - a lump of Granite just West of Greenock and South of the Isalnd of Arran.

A daft looking big lump known to every Scot and to hundreds of ships heading for Glasgow over the years - albeit they call it……. “what the ****Ck did we just hit?

Anyway - (and there iis a point, honest). I realised that OMI not only don’t need to spend money on mine infrastructure. They don’t even need to “dig” a mine.

What they have discovered on a hillside at Pepas ……… is just a giant lump of stuff from surface…… that just like Ailsa Craig ………. it is a quarry. Not a mine.

How simple is that.

Unless you are certain posters on here who want it to be more complicated and expensive than that.

Worth remembering that Pepas was never the No 1 prospect.

It was just the easiest and fastest to access back in the day.

Today's MRE is far from shabby in that context and must surely make the wider market wonder what else lies beneath.

How many of the 200 Junior explorers Brad often refers to would sell their granny for an MRE like this?

I admire the confidence and even the late, great Donald Sutherland would admire “the positive waves”…….. but - i am struggling with your repeated fascination with what you say was today’s 130M volume. By any measure that is a tiny amount on 77B in issue.

Take my own SYME tale of woe (and there are likely hundreds of poor saps, like me.

My sunk cost is £19,208 and even after today I am still 85.42% down.

Today’s 100% rise was a welcome surprise - but it only “made me” £800 …..!

The LSE fundamentals tab suggests a much higher volume traded today than your 170m - but the £ cost of that is a lowly £58,000.

However …… when is an irrevocable agreement …… breakable …….? (Used breakable because while something can be irrevocable - i don’t think Vocable is a word. )

Buried many, many pages down the RNS in appendix 3 - the Major shareholders and directors can break the agreement if a 3rd party comes in with an offer that is 5% or more - higher than the 28p offer.

any person other than JCHK or any person acting in concert with JCHK announces a firm intention (in accordance with Rule 2.7 of the Code) to make an offer (within the meaning of the Code) (whether or not the subject of pre-conditions) to acquire all of the equity share capital of the Company, other than that already owned by the person making such offer (or any person acting in concert with it), on terms which represent an improvement of 5% or more on the value of the consideration offered under the Acquisition.

Maybe we can all look down the sofa for an extra 1.4p per share each.

Waded through all the posts today.

Tough reading and like most I am shocked by the acceptance of 28p.

Plenty of people blaming the Chinese, Board and Mather etc but I haven't seen any suggestion that it may be the Government of Ecuador pulling strings.

As I understand it Ecuador has a cosy relationship with China. And China have a strong track record of investing in Infrastructure in Ecuador.

We were all fed up waiting for a succession of SOLG Management to "take action and get on with things". Like others I have been here since November 2013 - plenty for even longer. Just think how "fed up" the Government and people of Ecuador must be - watching paint dry and dreaming of the Royalties, employment and taxes they will earn when mining starts.

Is it possible the Government have put pressure on SOLG to sell to the Chinese - to get some revenue in the near term.

Every day I feel it is groundhog day for the SP.

But .......... I just toggled the 5 day chart and we are in fact:

5 days up 10.32% up.

1 month up 13.57%

6 Month up 179.13%

1 year up 253.71 %

5 Year ............. only up 25.23% - which shows how far OMI could still climb (and that was when - "we knew nothing John Snow"

Perhaps it is because I am fully loaded (for me) with 1.2m shares showing an average of 11.8616p with c300k of them bought in November (my ave was below 10p) in anticipation of Argentina (1st news) and more stellar drill results from Columbia that lured me into thinking OMI is going slow.

I make that this Friday 12th. We will then know all the hands before COP on Friday.

I bought another £20k yesterday at 30.66. - Bringing my holding up to a nice round 700,000 at an average of 12P
