I think just due to the lack of coverage, difficult to value underlying holdings etc. Woodford also had a 20% plus stake which was overhanging the market, which feared a firesale, this has now been taken by a US investor.
With the sale of velosbio which they had in the portfolio for 21m selling at 128m the level of cash is incredible and leaves the remaining portfolio prices at a 67% discount.
It has fallen back a touch last week with tobin resigning.

I actually see it as a good sign for the overall health and profitability of the business that SOH has the confidence to hire and increase fixed costs, playing the portfolio of products at different stages of development and profitability. The development of board capability was flagged well in advance, just hope a politician proves a good hire.
Anyway, as I have always said wait for the update which really can't come quick enough.
Don't believe the costs (two board members, one a replacement, and the ops manager) will be the defining costs between turning a potentially profitable company loss making - in any case trust SOH to make cost decisions based on the medium term opportunity for share price appreciation.

Belgrano, yes strange days indeed that I find myself asking the same question as wooly!
I think it does show the level of distrust we have in politicians as I did not have the same question of the last board appointment. Also because the last appointment clearly has an international reputation whereas this guy is very UK focussed.
Looking forward to SOH providing an update on how these two appointments can help create a real step change here.

Invested in GROW sometime ago as part of a portfolio of circa 30 investment trusts in my SIPP, luckily offsetting some losses in SUPP and MERC. Also own ARIX and OCI which are in profit.
I have watched GROW increase over those years, a really good selection of underlying investments.
For all those interested would advise a look at ARIX, seriously undervalued - if you take cash out a massive discount on underlying funds.

Robbie, even though I am aware of the reporting cycle completely agree, really impatient waiting for this.

In two minds on the appointment, I think due to my distrust of politicians in general and those in this government in particular who as Johnson says "f business". On the plus side we have seen with VIP channels, giving dodgy deals to your mates etc just how much of helps having a chum on the inside knowing who to talk to and how to pull the strings.

There is a lot of "hot" money moving around the AIM markets at the moment - particularly tech and pharma.
Those who can afford to dabble in shares have not had their skiing, summer, weekend breaks, expensive meals out, trips to the theatre etc and are sitting on an absolute pile of cash - irrespective of the damage brexit will do and covid has done. The number of new accounts on aj bell, ii, hl etc last year was incredible.
Hopefully once the share price climbs on a good rns contract win some publicity on a couple of website and publications will get more PI s in, one word from Simon Thompson will get buyers in who will not do any further research. At this market cap it flies under the radar of institutions. As I think shares are tightly held including with about 10-20 people on this board who understand the potential, shares will. E in short supply when this happens.

Dodge. I have stopped trying to read the market a long time ago, just buy where I see potential installation and opportunity and hold. I have been deeply in the red here but have held out for my average buy price of 8p.

Any reason you can see for the rise ? And then your bullishness going forward ?

Market always surprised me, I would have thought we would have reached 15 mid Dec on the orders update and then come down, anyway can't grumble.
With ENET I think it will just completely blow at sometime.

An NDA and agreements on publicity are clauses in every contract, with contracting parties having to agree wording on PR of allowed. It is standard, not an exception.
On the give a 16 year old a phone i) this is a b2b company not a b2c ii) the end customers are the more affluent middle class with disposable income.

Obviously wool does not read any reports outside OPTI as he would realise the forward looking statements language is standard legal language used by every company. Incredible.

You continue to point to an rns which states 21 profit, no such rns exists and our previous exchanges of communication state confirm this, but yet you persist in deliberately misinforming the board.

Hope you still have the magic touch here, you're not far off at 71p - the stock price has tended to just drift aimlessly and when we get to mid sixties goes back in retreat.
Hopefully a decent report or stbx share price continuing might take the trading range higher.

You invested in a company with I would assume would have a £60-80m market capitalisation at the time, zero revenue and with an unproven commercial strategy - with an expectation of a £2 share price and a £200 market cap and didn't see any risk ?
Both you and wally seem to have bought at the top of the market having read a ramper site without understanding the risk.
As I keep saying just wait for the update. If you then think you have overpaid with no prospect of return, sell up and move to other investments.

- " a once loved company" ? where do you get that from, it not Woolworths with people missing pick and mix. It only be going a few years - hardly part of the social fabric of british society.
- Dull and dreary, h1 revenue showed a 500% growth ? Outside tech, and even inside tech, name another AIM company with the same growth. I don't follow sbtx that much but the shareholding seems a great asset.
- No public relations, there are less than 10 employees and you expect an investor relations dept. Between you and wally can you make you're mind up on headcount and costs, you seem to want them to pay for idiots in an expensive pr firm but complain about an operations manager.
- Its a public company with necessary controls on communications in close periods, I am glad we don't have the board ramping the bell out of its prospects.
- As I have repeatedly said to wally just wait for the results, probably less than two week away when we should hopefully have something to comment on. Let's start the conversation with some facts behind us.

Yes, this tends to only really move on news and then as you say just tails off with low trade volume.
I hope the momentum in q3 and q4 (ex dec) continues for quarter growth over q1 20. There was nothing in the trading update on forward pipeline generation of other forward looking statements, looking last year the final accounts were early April so I think We will just drift unless We get an rns with a large contract win.
We could do with a nice write up somewhere as part of cyber stocks in general.
