Yes a good presentation. Maybe just me or a little more confidence in SOH but still keeping his cards close. I remember Elrico saying there was a lot going on shareholders weren't necessarily aware of, which I could understand from the preso across a range of products.
Just taking one very small slightly throwaway comment on working with sports nutrition, as a cyclist this is a massive and growing market. As a local company could be thg or sis?
On breakeven this looks to be about £3.5m with cash neutral before then.
I think SBTX share distribution is at least 18 months away, I get the feeling SOH wants this to play out quite a bit more. Provided they don't sell more relatively okay with that.
Happy to hold at the moment, I think we are well last the 40s and hopefully due a move to a new trading range in the 60/70s - but this is AIM so never know.

Decided not to get into a to and fro, posts are being deliberately misunderstood just to continue an argument.
Have been holding for some time at a slight loss (Inc divs). Agree this seems to be a market plaything, if you can time your ins and outs you can do okay. Haven't a clue on the catalyst which will take this to a trading range of say 140-160 or anywhere near the targets the brokers have.
Would like to get out at breakeven / slight gain and bung the proceeds into a few investment trusts which have good managers.

Agree it will take the market time to get it but I don't think it's necessarily dividends so have a lesser timeline. For me it's the market lightbulb moment when there is the realisation about the about the amount of profit / cash ENET can throw out at certain certain levels of revenue in the near future.
Not too worried about a takeover, but completely agree with your premise of individuals or corps working with ENET who really understand the tech and opportunity and then looking at the market cap and thinking wt#.
Although looking forward to some steep rises, always thought we will only see a decent share price on a takeover offer sometime in 23.

Fairview, with ENET you've got to remember the conservative nature of the rnss with order value and a low ball of potential. As you say there will come a time when the penny drops, especially with a very high margin company, low fixed costs with hopefully exponential growth.
I think the only thing that would accelerate share price ahead of results is and IC write up, but I can only see them being behind the curve.
As long as the news comes I am not really concerned on the share price in the short term.

Tracy, as others thanks for your continued insight and knowledge. When I follow other stocks I really get bored with some d####ead who constantly posts and chokes up the board, but not with yourself.
I think you are 100% correct on the market, I hope to see some share price appreciation this year but expect it to really start late next year.

It's a bit like the prior cash raise, not a lot of action after a lot of promises to get the cash raise subscribed.
I have been shot down on this board as being unduly negative, correctly in my opinion as it is important to smooth out the optimism with the facts of past issues and BOD failures.
Being honest here, could one of these give us an update of where they see the company now as I sensed they expected immediate orders and action ?

A couple of other points
- Blair (even though completely discredited) was talking about the risk of biological agents again. Someone in the know must have been in his ear, so real opportunity here.
- I never saw the covid detector as a mass market opportunity (schools etc) but more as an advanced data collector for very specialised locations such as transport hubs and large sporting events. Really surprised we have not had a few advanced orders by now, as the government are spending a fortune still on testing a given set of the population (I think through imperial, not test and trace) where there is a very short payback.

Still holding hoping for some news to take this to the mid 20s.

Not usually a fan of house broker notes but this is actually a really solid read and very much worth a look for both existing and potential investors.
What is a surprise is the '21 target they have (clearly from opti) of £2.2m, would hope this is exceeded based on h1 even though in the long term this is relatively irrelevant, but does show they are on track.
What did strike me from the report is how attractive OPTI would be for either a food / ingredients company or even a pharma as a takeover, especially at the current price of even premium.
Looking forward to this afternoon. After a few years gradually acquiring a 170k share stake, just sitting back to see how this develops in the medium term - I think the board have both the strategy and operational tactics correct.

No not in this case, they are converting bonds already issued a long time ago to shares. The share buyback is to reduce the dilution effect not of issuing the bonds ages ago (which doesnt dilute shareholders) but of issuing shares on conversion now.
It is not an accountants question, its more of a treasury / corporate finance issue about what is the best capital structure for a company such as vodafone. It is not black / white answer so don't expect one, but this is the capital structure the Vodafone BOD has chosen with more debt, less equity.

James was talking about insider buying not insider dealing.

The board already have decent holdings so will be rich men of this goes up to where we think it should, the two of them have a decent capped bonus scheme of 5% of profit each so have every incentive to lever the p and l past the breakeven point when it should increase at a multiple of revenue.

Good to see the increase in acuity holding, wonder what the holding value in the balance sheet and real value are? Wish they had more of a % holding here.
Really need to find more acuitys to start developing the portfolio, as I've said before a lot of players looking for these types of companies and prepared to pay over the odds so probably not going to happen in the short term.
Interesting to see what happens with the kcr holding, if they hold would like this to be dividend paying to provide some funds to cover costs / provide funds for acquisition. It has risen recently but probably still at a discount to nav.
At the moment seems undervalued, but with such a small market cap and little liquidity difficult to forecast where this will go.

I've not been one who has been that critical of a lack of IR before contracts / revenue etc as I believe it will just be seen as hot air and disregarded by the market.

However on BT surprised more has not been made of this from a PR persepctive, as this is the dominant telco in the UK and a brand name which every potential investor has heard of. A good write up providing an understanding of the use case also helps understand ENETs technology.

One day this will fly, until then I am still adding to my holding. Spent a lot of time looking but cannot see another company with this risk / reward profile.

Your reply shows a real lack on knowledge here - I think this is demonstrated by the fact you think they are issuing bonds.
There is no legal requirement to buyback in such circumstances to keep the share count stable, it could have been used for investment, divs, working capital of paying down debt.
A lot of moving parts to making this decision, the key always seems to be the BOD believe the current price undervalued the company and after buying back shares a rise has a disproportionate impact on the share price - a bit like a discount control mechanism in an investment trust. Vod is slightly different due to the large amount of debt vs other companies.

I already have a very unbalanced portfolio within both my sipp and isa, but have cash outside of this which I am looking at adding even though I consider myself a careful and conservative chap. All of what I currently have in currently is for the medium term (3-4 yrs) but might add some as a short term trade.
There is simply no market understanding or pricing of this share. Either there are 15 or so complete idiots here, or this is a share with no / little downside and incredible upside.

Hopefully some more meat on the bones on what seemed like a good h1, together with guidance for h2.
Need to up communication and visibility to get the share price moving, no reason for this to have fallen from15p.

Tracy, this is the first time we have seen BT being mentioned as a tarana customer? Even a Google search yields zero relationship between the two apart from the lightreading article.
A few months ago I thought the tarana deal underwrote ENET as a going concern, it is amazing how ENET issue an RNS which I don't understand 100% but over a few months (or year) reveals itself to probably be worth a multiple of the current price.

Yes. I really don't get the market in the short / medium term. Although the rise, still to a pitiful level, is welcome the only reason I can see for it is a very technical traders update on IC rather than a set of results which I felt derisked an investment.
I was going to sell some of my trading shares at 55p, but cannot see many places to put the proceeds so will just hang on and see how the newsflow proceeds this year.

This should be very, very targeted professional PR to key individuals/ decision makers. I don't think we should see it.

A good sign of confidence SOH is holding one. He does give a good summary, and some of the questions I would ask are under nda, commercially confidential or market sensitive.
Yes great to see an ned buy, I was sceptical at first about him but seems a good chap and not a buffoon like rees-mogg or redwood ( or frankly most of them).

I think we may have had one or two newcomers to the board but agree I think a lot has gone to existing holders - I have added quite a bit. Even the newcomers look to be longer term in nature and I feel have bought in at just the right time with just about zero risk.
It will be interesting when the real buying starts as I don't think we have that many traders here looking for a sale at 60 to 100p so stock will be scarce, a lot of long termers here who are looking at least a couple of years out.
I haven't provided much in the way of forecasts before, but I can see £1 easily in a couple of weeks of the news is good and more importantly the market gets it, but still behind the longer term valuation.
Out on the bike today in Normandy, nice coming back to a nice little rise - although it isn't important it is good to see a decent rise.
