The reasons I invested are still there, as you say it's just whether investors see this balance of +/ - in the share price and how they play out.
However the key negative of the basic integrity and quality of the management team would stop me taking more shares even at these low prices.

95% negative reflects the same performance from kmk. Anyone who looks at AIM companies with a glass half full isn't doing their homework, anyone looking at kmk half glass full after the last 4 years really needs their head testing.
I hope I am not vague about the accounting and governance in kmk - especially on accounting standards and the incredibly strange treatment of the last cfo. Due to my employment and qualifications, yes I have to be careful but I think people can read between the lines.
Whatever I think is relatively irrelevant - I hope my pointing to specific items in the accounts helps fellow posters - as the "market" clearly has little faith in kmks management even with positive rnss.
My reason for posting, as a holder of 61k shares I should be ramping this one, but issues need to be called out including IC and broker commentary which show no financial understanding.

As you correctly show there is a great market opportunity here.
IC and the house brokers view completely discredited, the redlen comparison is nonsense as they would have bought kmk at a fraction.
We need more disclosure on real orders and real backlog from contracts, and then assumed orders and backlog from mous etc.

Yes, it is deliberately misleading by omission and lack of detail - something anyone who has followed KMK for any period of time will realise.
Firstly the metric for "trading" in a company like KMK is really orders and movement in backlog not revenue, which they have always failed to comment on.
I would expect the vast majority of the £2.9m has hit H1 as that is what they said with the final results, you've simply got to read this stuff as it's there in black and white.
Absolutely agree, we cannot take anything KMK say at face value as we are still waiting for the tens of millions from the chinese deal to unwind from 3 years ago which they said was a temporary blip and would be reversed.

Really not great analysis or understanding.
With kmk you always need to look at what they presented in the past.
Prior H1 £4.7m, 45% increase would be a further £2.1m. £2.9m of this revenue is the fall out of h2 last year on failure to deliver, so in reality down £0.8m - about 20%.
Nothing to do with new contracts (expect backlog to have decreased), in any case new contracts simply wouldn't work through in a 0-6 month period to revenue in a meaningful percentage.

Why the rise? Expectation of an announcement or just SOH is prepared to front up and answer questions so it can’t be as bad a q1 suggests?
Anyway, just nice to see some blue, hope it continues backed by concrete progress.

Always good to see repeat orders from existing customers.
Muted response to confirming expectations for the half year shows a lot of work required (over many years) to establish credibility with the market.
As well as top line growth they need to show cash control and management (without write offs or provisions) on high stock and debtors.
As always with kmk it’s the small print in the results….

We have moved on from comparing every loss making company to Amazon / Facebook a few years to tesla - just pointless. By the way I expect kmk to be loss making, but loss making with control and focus.
I didn't say no one was using it, I said CZT was not a standard homogeneous product (as well as the electronics detector wrap) after posters were extrapolating the redlen buyout price along with the serially wrong ST and PH.
The paper you mentioned does seem to agree with this as well with redlen being given star billing compared to the quick mention of kmk.
This is an academic advanced science paper written by very bright PhDs from leading science facilities, it's not meant for the average Joe to understand but understandable for a particle physicist.
You only have to look at about three years worth of annual report written statements, financial statements and notes to the accounts to realise the management are commercially naive and incompetent - and more of a problem there are major integrity and governance issues.
Why would I say that if I were invested ? Because every year they don't seem to learn from terrible operational management.

I think we have the usual forgetfulness every 3-6 months where a few posters have very selective amnesia about kmks past record of promises then market execution and very dodgy accounting / governance.
The comparison of Basu as Musk Mark 2 really did make me chuckle though.

From the recent cash raise despite large debt is to be paid, it is very clear there is something very very wrong in why customers don't want to pay for kmks products.

Every new investor comes on board looking at the great opportunity only to be disappointed - we've heard it all before but nothing has really changed.
The issue is the board, the senior management team and basu (who has deliberately surrounded himself with complete lightweights) are simply not equipped to execute strategically or operationally.

The issue is Basu has always been a completely useless business man but a good scientist. unfortunately I don’t think he recognises this as he appears to have a very poor management team, the board is really poor with a lot of science and little business.
Expecting time to change this isn’t going to happen, they will fail to optimise the opportunity they have, as they have done with smaller opportunities in the past - failing to allocate capital correctly, stupid contracts, lack of market potential understanding, infantile balance sheet and P&l control / management etc etc.

I think you're the only one left.
The issue is they need some real hard nosed commercial, financial and sales / marketing nous to maximise these opportunities.
Everything we have seen says they haven't got any, but more of a problem is they don't realise it.
A decent leadership team would lick this into shape in about 6 months, but still be left with a deeply scarred balance sheet and overall financial health.

Orders of between 15-25% is a pretty large forecasting leeway - still want the mix of renewals / new as well as the perpetual / sass mix.

Usually with this is money it has a short impact then does down. Their success rate on smaller caps / unusual ITs is about 10%, but God do they yap on about those and forget about the 90%.

Took an interest in rws a while back as they took out sdl from my home town maidenhead.
As well as a decent punt on their own, I think I a lot of US companies must be sniffing around those with global revenues especially cyber.

At $21m and £ tanking v dollar cns isn't too far off, also profitable, decent cash / balance sheet and decent growth / move from perpetual to saas. Share price a bit marooned 10-11.
