100% channel route to market in the US, its all around recruiting and incentivising the right partners. when you have 1 or two direct sales people with the turnover of TECH sales people in the US you are constantly re recruiting, training, re establishing realtionships etc.

In every software company I have worked the CEO would be deeply involved in these type of deals, helping closing them out. This would include meetings, conversations etc with the CIO, CEO of the customer.
Just doesn't stack up this was one rogue sales person who somehow bought in 90% of the deals was a lone wolf.

No they're not particular on who they cover, the only criteria is £££ to them.

Even though they have been repriced, they are now well below even that.
One person isn't necessarily an issue, but SOH does appear to have real issues holding onto people for more than 12-18 months when you need at least a two year cycle to assess, action and see results in a long lead time for opportunities. This also massively restricts the pool of people they can recruit, who would give up a settled job and career when they look at the history.

Important to split out
1. Individual purchase orders, which the RNS is for and where they should get around 5-10 of these a year for combined values below or around $1m, which they arent.
2. Multi year agreements with estimates values, and the customer calls of say 3 months supply. The multi year revenues are not contracted and are not backlog.

Kmk have always deliberately overvalued the later and never contract with real purchase orders to the level they have stated.
Really difficult to understand contracted backlog they haven't taken to revenue, this is on top of any trust I have in contracts they have taken to revenue.

Agree, although I don't want a running commentary on every milestone in the way to what we hope are contracts with $$$ or significantly derisk existing revenue streams, these rns are informative and show the company has listened to past concerns on IR.
The "market" (if there really is a rational one for ENET with seemingly less than 10-20 active long/ medium PIs and no short term traders) is discounting these RNS, ENET needs $$$ RNS and / or 2022 results with a lesser cash churn to get back to double digits.

It would be great for an overall strategic overview of drumz from the board. A minority share of one seemingly really good company and an investment in a non core company needs to be out in context of where the company wants to be in 2-5 years.
Would have hoped 2-3 years back we would have a portfolio of interests in companies such as acuity by now.

When you have a failed BOD and senior leadership team such as kmk, cash on the bank (not revenue) is all that matters.
That’s just the way it is now, and I suspect will be for at least two years.

Yet again, I really am at the "so what" stage.
Its 90% marketing / channel development , 10% science. Unfortunately the 10% science bit doesn't make up for the 90% where OPTI and SOH are out of their depth.

Unfortunately I have lost all faith in SOH.
Doesn't seem to grasp opportunities, really poor marketeer, hasn't built any brand presence, a really poor salesman - just rabbits on about "the market" rather than opti performance in it.

From an accounting perspective really poor and ill informed.
Accounting is not a "nightmare", sales incentive schemes and to be fit for purpose especially if based on orders, auditing is not "impossible".
Clear poor really basic controls and governance, and seemingly a shabby culture led from the top.
