Hi, you wont have an RNS for a big seller immediately. They need to pass percentage thresholds, 3%, 4%, 5% etc. Also if they sold yesterday and today they then notify the company (within about a day or so) and then the company has to issue the RNS (another day or so)…..
This seems way oversold to me on what were steady results. As a previous poster indicated, if this happens on the back of that RNS what on earth happens when the rest of retail, hospitality etc who haven't made a penny for 5 months announce their results. Halfords are one of the early ones giving trading updates for covid periods. Wait till we see the reports from businesses that have been shut!
