I’m with you on that turnkey. I honestly think the 220k ounces is a conservative estimate too. I really don’t think people have woken up to just how colossal west Kenya is.

In the last shares mag presentation Luke CFO refers to a part of the mine where they have over 100koz at 43g/tonne
Which is just absolutely insane.

Nice little no nonsense interim from Shanta this morning. IIs invest on facts and weve presented some nice numbers to digest. Ive noticed a few more patterned trades going through this AM of substantial amounts between 10-20k so it looks like it might have caught a fews attention in my opinion.
These large blocks are really starting to bermuse me, hopefully the answer will be revealed soon enough.
Momentum really starting to build behind shanta now as everything comes together more and more people taking notice of the high class job the management team are pulling off.

MRE will be a huge catalyst. All eyes are on Scally right now though and if theres a whiff of success from the results, Newcrest hav a HUGE decision to make. in my opionion of course.

Appreciated Turnkey I hope you’re right. After checking the Shanta website of their largest holders there’s a good percentage who will be aware of the value here and will want to hold out to see it. Most have held for years and years and to cut it short now would be very sad.

Apologies ukinvestor if that came across blunt I’m mr Groucho in the morning... just I’ve invested a lot of time effort and money into this one. Everything seems to be coming together and I am bothered (with the low SP)about a low ball offer. There’s been a couple of examples recently unfortunately.

Appreciate that Ukinvestor but just repeating what CD says also offers nothing. So say a low ball offer occurs would you assume barrick sit in their hands and do nothing? Genuine question.

I’d like to think having barrick behind us it may offer some protection. Ultimately they know just how profitable Shanta will become in a few years time and have a solid pathway to profit from it now... Surely they wouldn’t want to see it disappear. They could hopefully out bid Any stupid offers but then what do I know

Haha I completely agree. I’ve always thought barrick circling around us in the back ground may end up with them having a pop at us. Ideally I would like Shanta west Kenya to come into full fruition before anyone has a go but business is business and we’re all here to make a profit.

I saw a somewhere there was a 11 month block on them arttrader. Or something like that. I don’t think they will want to sell even if they could. Quite the opposite if honest. They know what west Kenya holds and with a bit of help from shanta they will monetise this asset.

We have known of the great relationship between the two companies for a while. In my opinion I’ve always thought of us as barrick a little sibling. I think they always wanted a slice of Shanta and this gave them a cheap and easy path to it.

Thanks CD it really does seem to be spectacular, them grades are unbelievable! I think you’re right in terms of expansion too. In my opinion there’s more than 1 mill oz down there.

Singida mills 175000 tonnes of ore per quarter ( ish)
If west Kenya mills 150000 tonnes per quarter with and average grade of 12.3g per tonne.
= 1845000 grams. Converted to ounces that’s roughly 65000 per quarter.
X1900 an ounce gives us 123 mill rev per quarter less our minuscule AISC figures. I called it 900 to be prudent.
That’s 65 mill FCF per quarter from west Kenya alone.
My fag packet has now ran out of space but bloody hell. This really could be incredible. Please anyone point out if I’m wrong in any of the figures?
