Some serious stops on gold contracts that would never have been delivered have closed now. $1830-40 i will reopen my position. In my opinion this is a springboard moment and the next week/month could get very interesting.

A little too late, unfortunately not from Alba but it was enjoyed none the less. Too many anchovies have been eaten for the time being and not enough red wine... time to put an end to that one.

I won’t lie I’m a younger less experienced investor but find mining one of the easiest industries to value thanks to my personal profession. And wherever you look Shanta is one of the most undervalued stocks on the market, with its directors with huge “skin in the game” the potential over 5 years time could be exponential.
With the conclusion of WK and Singida on the cards I really cannot see why this can’t reach 30p+. Given the risk of operating in Africa I understand that until the contracts are signed it will remain this way. However when it is all said and done and gold $2000 ( a price I wouldn’t have believed at the beginning of this investment) and with Barrick circling in the background with a 7%+ stake I will be sitting comfortably awaiting the market to realise the potential. In my opinion of course.

Feels like we have been waiting for these updates for years. I was rather hoping for one to land this week as I’m in Positano and I would have ordered a CD special truffle pasta to celebrate! In regards to The SC sell off... could it have anything to do with barrick WK percentage deal or will that just be issued through dilution? Just an idea. Something is cooking for sure.

We’ve just seen reports that GGP could be providing Telfer with 300000oz per year with gold pushing $2100 an oz (who knows where it may be in 18 months time. And people are questions the BODs decision?! Seriously.

That makes sense then. Obviously their thinking is that the contracts would never be able to deliver on the gold. $2050 as I type. Starting to get very exciting.

I saw somewhere that China had prohibited their citizens from purchasing such metals, supposedly to “protect them from price fluctuations”, how kind of them.
But definitely odd and well spotted. Been trading $gold all the way up to here however my only regret is closing positions on a high and re opening on a low. Should have opened one up on each dip.

Fed meeting tomorrow, should hold more good news for gold. In my opinion I can see it being the catalyst to push up to $2000. This pullback was necessary and predictable before the next drive forward.

Morning Spars, lovely part of the country, Carbis bay last year was gorgeous.
Prediction is touching 20p by the end of August maybe before in my opinion!
Should be a fun few months ahead for all those invested.

My thoughts exactly. Saw POG and thought Shanta must have moved towards 17/18. This is being suppressed. End of. Amazing week and should have finished off with a nice movement replicating gold. Ahh well. More shares for me come pay day. Have a good weekend all.

Thanks San, I had provisionally guessed at 5moz which is obviously conservative but after yesterday’s update I think it could be closer to 10moz than 5. The guys in charge of putting together the MRE must be pretty stumped at the moment!

Afternoon all. Obviously the time draws closer towards the MRE... does anyone want to hazard a guess as to what figure NC may put forward?

Colonel I’m a director of a SME by day, currently working six days a week and between 9-12 hours per day. Yet I still find time to research every single one of my investments to the best of my ability (which isn’t a great deal). As you know it doesn’t take much digging around through our RNSs and presentations to realise the sheer potential. I am more than happy to point people in the right direction as I’m greatful to yourself and others on this board who have done the same for me, but when information takes a negative twist on the back of absolutely outstanding results it is frustrating.
