Newcrest bought Red chris for 800m, from a few fag packet calculations I’ve worked out red Chris would have generated about $250m. Of which 70% (newcrests purchase) would equate to $175m income per year. Does anybody Hav a rough idea what increase in income for newcrest feeding Telfer with Havs ore will produce, i couldn’t find anything to deduce from any comments but going off A low estimate of 4x telfers current grade and splitting it 50/50 it should be about 500m a year of extra turnover at $1700 POG.
Just a different way of looking at the valuation given red Chris is newcrests most recent acquisition.
Could be a load of codswollap but more just food for thought for the more intelligent board members on here to take a stab at.

The 70 percent of my portfolio is in ggp at the moment. I’m hoping they get bought out sooner rather than later so I can get reach my target shareholding here quicker!

I don’t understand the current SP. The only reason I can attach to this is that investors appetite for risk in Tanzania is low and will only attract the big movers when everything stops being prospective and becomes fact. Our big brother Barrick is also looming in the background and will soon have a fairly hefty chunk invested in Shanta which in my mind is worth a lot and provides an end game strategy for many years down the line.

Yeah I need to do a little more research into how they operate their allocation here, I imagine they have multiple funds within Canaccord does anyone know which one cluff fall under?
I think they funded the IPO so they must be looking at a heavy loss.

The m8 is a brute of a car there’s a video on YouTube where it destroys a Nissan GT-R ... not long to wait for the new m4 competition though. Bmw are making some of the best engines around.

Hmm I think we’ve entered a very odd trading pattern again. Going back to SOS’ post earlier today nailed everything I was thinking. We saw the share bounce between 8.4-8.8 for 5 days, couldn’t get me head round it. Then all of a sudden tin the blink of an eye we were touching 12p. Now we’re bouncing around 11.3- 11.6, been a few days now... what’s next...

I think there’s going to be a lot of II analysts awaiting these drilling results with bated breath to factor in to their valuation calculations. Question is are they more accurate/ as quick on the trigger than our own in house team we have on board here. Many thanks all and good luck. Big week ahead. 13-14p by end of week in my opinion.
