I'm not dismissive.. revenue could carry on going down and the turnaround fails. However, you are posting very one sided and don't acknowledge that analyst consensus is subject to change at any given moment depending on which way the wind blows.

Infact 5th July 2021 analyst average consensus was for £5.3 billion in revenue and £440 million EBITDA for FY23.. look what happened, by that point ASOS was already 3 months into it's downwards slide.

You should know as well as I do that is to be taken with a pinch of salt. When this was trading at £50 a share in 2021 analyst's were predicting £500 million EBITDA and £5 billion in revenue by now.. completely wrong and the opposite happened.

Just as now analyst writeups don't take future events/macros into perspective as they can't as they don't know.

With you there Samb.. RI was speculation on the BB to kind of justify the SP action. I'm still hoping it's just retail capitulation.. this is a tightly held share with 70%+ shares Held between a few so wouldn't take much selling to drop it. Plus if they are really that desperate there is the option to sell TS at £9 million per 5% as in the original agreement.

Positive is its collapsed in anticipation of one so you'd think not a great lot of downside if there is a profit warning and a whole lot of upside if the company remains on track.

Ah well nevermind.. at least we will know whether we hit your profit warning or remain on guidance 👍

Unfortunately I agree.. it doesn't mean a great lot. They are actions taken that are yet to reflect on an improvement in company results. The next update is key.

Yeah it is, especially when investors arent none the wiser whether this new 'commercial model' has carried on the trends seen during august and September when new stock was flying out. Little faith in the turnaround shown clearly.
