I do have faith in the new (ish) CFO, and it does appear that there has been a shift in sales momentum over the past six months. However, it seems to be too little, too late for the CEO. I am surprised he lasted as long as he did, given the history of underperformance relative to the opportunity in front of them.

The £250k bonus he paid himself following the sale of the energy division always left a bad taste in my mouth, especially given that both the cash and the £10m kicker from that deal ultimately evaporated.

Under the right stewardship, I think this company could achieve great things, and in turn, so could the share price.

A very good RNS. It is great to see a material Redaptive backed deal that proves the concept. A couple more case studies like this and it is only a matter of time before they start consistently winning larger contracts.

Good question. They’ve made some impressive progress, but I’m struggling to get past a few major ball drops, just as the market is. The extent of the accounting discrepancy is staggering, especially when you consider the options and bonuses handed out to the management team on the back of their so called ‘great work’ during that same period. It’s clear this was anything but great work.

The sale of the EMD was initially hailed as a strong deal but is now being positioned as a loss-maker. There was great confidence in reaching the £8–10m kicker, which was then revised down to a hopeful £5m, and now they're expecting nothing. More bonuses were awarded off the back of this deal.

I invested in this stock many years ago, drawn in by the ‘buy and build’ strategy heavily promoted by Harvey at the time. That approach has clearly failed. And while a number of FDs have been dismissed, Harvey seems impervious to any accountability regarding strategy execution or performance.

Looking ahead, Harvey made a point yesterday of telling us that Redaptive were in London specifically to meet with eEnergy, apparently to discuss their partnership. But conversations like that can easily happen over Zoom. I suspect Harvey is intent on proving eEnergy’s value in the UK and Europe in the hope of securing an acquisition by Redaptive. I also suspect that’s the only reason he still has a job; to make that deal happen.

If I remember correctly, these guys are on their third CFO in four years, so it is clear they have struggled to get this area under control for sometime. It also appears they finally have someone who has got to the bottom of the issues, and hopefully no more horrible surprises to come.

We need some consistency now going forward, with good cash accumulation and some big wins essential. Otherwise the SP will remain stagnant, imho.

Very true. Also, I am sure there will be a partnership opportunity for redaptive to introduce EAAS to their own clients who have presence in Europe, further enhancing value creation for all parties.

This is game changer for EAAS on many levels.

I suspect this partnership is a precursor to a future acquisition of EAAS by Redaptive. They look like similar businesses, but Redaptive have really scaled and might be looking at new territories as part of their expansion plans? fingers crossed.

Key reasons would be no seriously positive news from EAAS, a poor AIM market generally (understatement ?) and a number of legacy (acquisition) shareholders offloading their stock, having ran out of patience. Have I missed anything?

A decent bit of volume (for this stock) has been shifted today in what is a down day generally. I doubt the market has caught up on the value available here, so more news inbound maybe, possibly big news?

I agree with the comments so far. Not big numbers but good news all the same and great case studies to open doors to those £1m+ deals that Harvey talked about on the last investor call. Then the key metrics of this share will fly. I am glad i have kept nibbling away when this gets to 4p. This stock has massive potential to fly, especially when the legacy shareholder overhang clears.

Yes, a positive showing from both of them. As part of the Q&A, I did not quite understand the answer to when the first payment for the EMD sale will be. I believed we expected cash around now, but I think the CFO said Jan 26? I estimate to receive c£5.5m, which is decent. Did anyone catch this? if not, I will relisten back when I have chance.

What do you think is a sensible SP based on these results? Noting this is AIM and rarely sensible..

A very good result on the face of it, although I want to spend more time on understanding how the change in revenue recognition policy has impacted their results.

A decent payment for the energy management sale would be the cherry on top to hopefully resuscitate the SP.

A decent uptick in volume and buys today compared to recent times. EAAS seem to like to post an RNS on a Friday, so hopefully good news/ye results are inbound..

A nice contract win announced, which provides confidence that their strategy to move into the further education space is gaining traction. Hopefully a few more decent wins will help drive the SP up to a more sensible level. Good job Harvey and team.

2.7p was massively undervalued and came off the back of them running out of cash. 4.6p is massively undervalued today though, given that their financial position is much stronger, albeit they have sold the family silverware.

I would say that it is clear that there is a big seller continuing to offload, with very little good news to attract too many buyers. As such, we are seeing a supressed SP, imho. c6-7p seems a sensible level for this stock, based on how it has traded over the last 12 months. We just need the big seller to jog on and some good news.
