Special Mining Licence ("SML") Application converted to seven Mining Licence ("ML") Applications

SML application has been replaced so I don't see how it can be alive. The question is what do we lose by not having an SML or gain by having a set of MLs that cover the same area but for a shorter (10 year period). If the key objective to open up PPAs and Funding is 'to licence the area for commercial mining activity' then this may serve its purpose.

I cant imagine they have taken this route purely on the advice of the Mining Commission.

Will be interesting to see what the other two SML applicants do

You might be right re SML but I'd settle for 7 ML's and a way forward on a 'dead' project in a country that doesn't value coal than a flat rejection. 10 Years, renewable until depletion of deposit .... is reasonable certainty in my book. If nothing esle its a much more saleable asset with ML's

I have question all the current directors ability to do their jobs as well. They are there to deliver shareholder value and you cannot in any way shape or form argue they have achieved that ... the crux is whether you think they can go and do so

True. Four individuals with a diverse range of experience and success / failure vs an ageing keep it the family group that have worked together for nearly 40 years. The only defence that kdr are putting up is to try and discredit the proposed directors rather than try and put forward a positive future vision for the company.

Does it really feel we are cusp of a dramatic turnaround and that this action is impetuous and putting current ‘progress’ at peril.

Alan for one I know has had a significant stake i this company for years.

Not one significant shareholder supports the current directors.

You only have to look at how many people actually bother to post here to show the complete apathy in this stock

I've been taken in hook line and sinker here and its taken me a while to firstly see it and then admit it. I've had money in CGNR as well from time to time as on paper the the opportunity looks huge but funnily enough nothing materialises. Sound familiar

Lost of exploration and talk of a massive mine, partnerships etc but all there is is dilution and consolidation. Performance of CGNR since consolidation 32p to 6p. Performance of KDR since consolidation down from over 6p to a low of 2.25p in 18 months ....

Don't have any issues with Paragon. Neither did KDR current BoD when they re engaged Mr Grimmer so interesting they raise it now.

I am more interested to know how a group of directors can run two companies and fall out with their major shareholders on both occassions
