Half yearly results in Feb 2019

Fantastic but what has happened with this in the last 6 months and at what stage of the process are we at. Is there a formal application and approval process? How long will it take? Did we not have the mining permit when we acquired Lahtojoki in the first place? When can we expect a decision. NONE of these legitimate and important questions have been addressed. These are the sorts of things any new investor surely would be interested in.

Its two months on since the Board issued their Shareholder Circular which is the latest update from the company available to those shareholders that are not members of the Board.

Board structure - much criticism was made of the proposed directors and their knowledge and past experience

Since then KDR made a statement "Karelian Diamonds (AIM: KDR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Howard Bird as consultant to the Company. The Company intends to appoint Mr. Bird to its Board at an appropriate later date."

Given that KDR BoD acknowleged the experience of Doyle / Grimmer but felt they would add 'no new value' or 'provide significant improvements' it would be useful to know why the company appointed Mr Bird, when he will be appointed to the Board and why they feel he will add "significant company value" when the other two wouldn't.

Additionally the circular when onto state "These proposed directors have to date put forward no descriptive technical proposals, supporting documentation or persuasive evidence of how they expect to finance or procure financing to
support a meaningful sampling programme."

I am yet to see any evidence of the above from our existing BoD beyond a £100k placing for what has to working capital and not exploration related.

I am making these points and observations here as every previous attempt to contact the company by email has not been responded to and any response to any direction questions at previous AGMs has been met with a rambling answer on the history of the geology of Finland.

.... anyone who thinks this is a 'bum share' and the CEO is a clown but would be prepared buy back in if the price is correct is hardly shrewd either. By implication the more it falls the worse it gets so I'm assuming you'd consider a higher price a more suitable entry point

He's rightly taken a lot of flak for crap interviews but for once that was well delivered. I just hope that reflects an increased confidence that a number of concrete milestones are about to be ticked off and not the result of a successful media course.

Back in July I think the concensus was a lot was due in the next six months that would make or break this company or at least PI patience. 4 months to go.

Why 7 MLs when one would probably be enough for MCPP initially. Huge export market for coal to SA but needs someone to build and operate the mine.

Two words with similar meaning ... driving licence gives me the right to drive. Mining licence gives me the right to mine. I apply for the right to mine and get given a licence to do so.
